Have you every wanted to stay in a restored medieval tower with your own restaurant downstairs and the most charming choices of patios just out the door? Look no further. We LOVED this stay. We arrived a little early for our rooms to be ready, so we took a walk down the road and found a trail down to a little creek and waterfall. Eventually we were shown to our rooms and when we confirmed our dinner reservation we were informed we'd be the only guests at the restaurant that evening as they were actually closed for a private party that night. How kind of them to serve us anyway! Now, this isn't some sleek, modern place. Think stone walls, ancient timber, and old world charm. Oh, it was updated and clean, but it was also everything I wanted from a stay in a stone tower in the Italian countryside. The rooms were full of personality, but the bathrooms were modern and spotless. There were three patios; one higher up with a view, another under a vine covered structure for shade, and a third outside the entry. We spent hours enjoying the weather, the view, and their house wine. Our dinner was fantastic and only made better by being included in singing to the birthday boy, after which we were given some of the special cake they'd made for him. I could go on and on but...just go try it for yourself! Don't miss out on grabbing some of their local olive oil!

The staff was friendly and nice. I had absolutely the best pizza in my life there, the food is all organic, and the prices are very affordable for dining. They make pizza in old ovens and follow traditional Italian recipes. It is absolutely worth coming back for a dinner there. There were a lot of cats, they're very friendly and let me pet them. The location is exceptional, quiet, astonishing views of the city and starts.

Not a bad thing, but if youre an early bird keep in mind that the place can be loud at evenings/night, because locals come here to dine out.

This 700-year-old farmhouse is a true gem, unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you've left. The house itself is a marvel of history, with thick stone walls, beamed ceilings, and original features that speak of centuries gone by. But despite its age, the home has all the modern conveniences you'd expect including bathrooms and comfortable bed. The property is surrounded by stunning natural beauty with rolling hills and olive groves. As night falls, the gardens around the house are filled with fireflies, which put on a mesmerizing show as they dance among the trees. And if you go up to the terrace, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Florentine valley which will sparkle with lights in response to fireflies.

The scenery, Tuscany at its best! Very friendly staff, doing everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. Great local - home made - food, grilled on a wood fire.

What's there not to like? Be prepared for a climb over a rocky road, so don't try to show up with your Ferrari - or other super sports car. Luckily I came in with a Jeep Renegade ⛰️🏞️

Location is wonderful, room is clean and hustle and bustle of city life seems far away. Dinner was good and staff is friendly.

You have to manage expectations. This is an agroturismo, so if you expect the full amenities and a copious breakfast of a 4* hotel, you'll be disappointed. If you seek piece and quit in a secluded and simple surrounding, this could be for you. Breakfast however could be better, it is too simple.

Everything was amazing! We were welcomed like family. The room was clean and it was super easy to sleep since it was so quiet and dark at night. Dinner was also amazing, home-made pasta was absolutely delicious. House wine and drinks were amazing as well. Breakfast was simple but enough, coffee was especially good.

At first we thought that we wouldn’t like the room, but in the end it turned out to be one of the most interesting hotels where we spent the night. Location, nature, silence, staff, ancient building, good fittings in the rooms, the bed, although old and creaks a little, is very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious. And I especially want to recommend their homemade wine. I still regret that I took only one bottle and not more.

The smell of cigarettes lingers in the room from time to time. I don’t know who smoked and where...

Very old - historical - from 14th century. Offered evening meal (at extra cost) served under the stars. Excellent paella and special dessert!

Lots of cats! One member of our party had to rent a room elsewhere because of his severe allergy to cats. Rest of us stayed and enjoyed our time there. Room was smaller than used to but probably normal for the time it was made.

Incredible location with incredible view. We are onsite and explored the hillside and enjoyed our time here. It is very historical and the furnishings are as well. My only minor complaint is that there has clearly not been a deep clean in a while. Lots of cobwebs and dust in the corners and on the furniture.

Amazing location up on the hill overlooking La Spezia. Bonus access to the pool up the road was very welcome. Simple kitchen with all we needed to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. Good restaurant recommendations locally. Tip: go to Porto Venere and enjoy the relative peace compared to Cinque Terre with summer tourists!

Mattresses were a bit soft for 2 singles together for us.
