The location was ideal. The bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely

The noise at night due to the main road and flight path. For a bridal suite/ deluxe room, it could’ve had a more prestige choice of welcoming drinks and maybe room service. It wasn’t as deluxe as I had thought it would be.

Arrived around 1330hrs but could not check in as no staff available until 15.00hrs. Checked in over the phone and was told that our room key would be in a key safe and was given a pin number to access the safe. We arrived back at the hotel around 0100hrs on the following morning and to be fair do not really remember much. The room was adequate but nothing fancy, but it was what I expected for the price I paid. My only real disappointment was that on the following morning there was once again no one around. I assume that you do not do breakfast? I would have been happy if I could have purchased a coffee or even a bottle of water, but sadly no. The instant coffee in the room just isn`t to my taste. Would I stay here again? Yes because it was worth what we paid for it. Maybe give you guests a couple of bottles of water with the complimentary tea and coffee.

Great location easy access to M1 & M62 Hotel room had comfy bed great nights sleep and all you needed Towels, hairdryer , big wardrobe , TV, tea coffee sugar milk & complementary biscuits. En-suite bathroom had a bath with shower over great to have option of both also complementary toiletries handwash , shower wash etc. Staff very friendly and very helpful . I was a solo traveller and booked a twin but was offered a double when arrived if I preferred which was very nice . I did not have breakfast on this stay but have stayed previously and the breakfast is excellent one of the best I have had in the past. Great stay will be returning Thankyou .

Nothing negative to say it was great

Large comfortable room. Lovely staff. Convenient location. Lovely old building. We did not sample the food, although it was available.

Unfortunately there was only one type of pillow, although extra were provided, which were just too hard. One night the bar had music which did impose on sleep. As there was only a small group of people in the bar, was it necessary to have dance music playing with a heavy beat disturbing the people staying on a week night.

Bed very comfortable. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Lady in bar very pleasant and accommodating,responded to our issues, though we only saw her once as bar usually shut and no staff on evidence.

WIFI useless in room. Bathroom very small and hook on door broken so hard to dry towels. But the lady did give us more . No information re eating places. We were on public transport and struggled to find anything to eat.

Staff were very helpful, bedroom and bathroom very clean. If it wasn't raining, should have had views of the moors. Off-road parking available both at the front and rear of the hotel.

Arrived at 8:45pm and the kitchens staff had already left. No clothes hangers in my room. If arriving from the M1 direction, there is a Fish and Chip shop and restaurant - unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Discovered the chippy does not have pea fritters! There is a Tesco about 3/4 miles beyond the hotel, so between the chippy and Tesco, I managed to obtain sustenance.

I loved the way it was so quite and the staff were very helpful and friendly Rooms are very clean and bathroom shower were great Walking distance to dewsbury Parking In all a very restful and pleasant stay A special mention to stevie One small thing the telegraph didn’t work But actually just nice to chill Thank you Room 14

First class

The property is beautiful. Although my standard double room was very small it was clean and comfortable. The other 2 rooms we booked were of a good size. My only issue was there was no breakfast being served anymore. The staff make this hotel. They are so friendly. The evening meal was fantastic and service superb. The ladies were very attentive.

Super friendly staff, spotlessly clean, very comfortable room, comfy bed, good shower over a bath. Lots of easily accessible parking. We had the continental breakfast - excellent choices, generous provision and amazing value at £5 per person!! Have used before as it’s very convenient for seeing family, and so much nicer (and better value) than a faceless chain hotel - will use gain.

It’s a bit “tired” in terms of decor in some areas but the high level of cleanliness easily outweighs this for us.

They staff were very helpful and let me wait in my room until it was time to leave for my train. Overall it was a very smooth stay with no complaints.The buikding was lovely. The only small comment I would make is that the building overall could do with a fresh lick of paint :) but this didnt ruin my stay,
