"Monsieur" greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room - in a little self-built building at the end of his amazing vegetable garden. The (Squirrel) room was simple but had everything we needed. It was very hot when we visited but the room was cool. Comfy bed with sheet and blanket so you could still be covered with just the sheet, even in the heat! Great shower! Parking was on the drive, with electric gates. Breakfast was served on the terrace - fruit, homemade bread, jams, yoghurt and local cheese, with freshly squeezed orange juice, tea or coffee - fantastic! It's a residential area, but really tranquil and quiet. Monsieur and Madame were both very friendly and helpful, and lovely hosts. Thank you for a great stay!

There's no TV in the room, if that matters to you - it didn't to us. We chose to walk into the centre of Troyes, after a long day in the car. It took about 40 minutes, but was a good way to get a "feel" for the town.

Independent accommodation at the end of of the garden. Very quiet area and secure parking. The breakfast was delicious with home made bread, jams and yoghurt. A fresh fruit salad, orange juice, tea and coffee were all part of the breakfast offering. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. They kindly booked us into a local restaurant 10mins walk away which didn’t disappoint. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Le Petit Saint-Julien is located in a small house at the end of the owners wonderful vegetable garden in a quiet street in St Julien les Villas. The house was built by the owner himself with great taste using all natural materials and a lot of care and attention to detail was taken. The room was immaculately clean with a lovely bathroom, good shower and a very comfortable beds. The breakfast was superb - all homemade and totally delicious. Many thanks for a beautiful stay - we will be back.

Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and yoghurt, fresh bread and homemade jams. The parking was secure, behind electric gates and the location was quiet with the city centre a 30 minute walk which was very straight forward. The room was comfortable and clean with a fantastic shower.

I didn't realise that check-in wasn't until 6pm which is quite late. We turned up at 4pm and were able to check in early which was a relief.

Stayed for one night en route to Lyon. Ideal for us. Very welcoming hosts. Room was basic but had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and so quiet that we slept really well. Free Wi-Fi. Parking in front drive- gates locked. Lovely breakfast-everything home made. Would stay here again if travelling in the area

What an absolute gem of a place on our way from Calais to the Alps. Wonderful hosts - very sociable with a great sense of humour. Accommodation was in an annexe at the end of their garden. Two bedrooms. Ours was very comfortable with a super bathroom and extra large shower. Breakfast was superb with lots of local produce and they kindly served me eggs as I’m gluten free. Outside in the garden on a beautiful day. It was just a pleasant half hour walk from the centre of Troyes to find dinner and stretch our legs after a long car ride.

I really can’t think of anything. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed in the Hedgehog room, one of two lovingly hand-crafted rooms in a building at the bottom of an obviously bountiful garden. (Breakfast consisted of homemade products from the garden and local honey. ) Our hosts were lovely.

Lovely independent house in a quiet neighborhood with secure parking and a very impressive vegetable plot. Breakfast was delicious - homemade bread, cake, jams, fruit, local cheese. Our host was charming and informative - a wonderful, relaxing stay.

The place was just as hospitable and comfortable as on our previous stay. It was lovely to see the vegetable garden thriving and the cherry tree laden with fruit. Delicious breakfast with lots of homemade products. We will certainly stay again.

It’s a charming, peaceful gîte, designed and built in the garden by the owners with the comfort of their guests in mind. I loved every little thoughtful detail. To sit on the terrace eating a breakfast of local produce, homemade jams, bread and muffins, in such a pretty garden, was a joy. We will definitely return.
