This is my second stay there. I choose it because it is about the only place that will allow you to reserve an ocean view room. They have a good breakfast, not just a continental one. They have bikes you can use to ride the beachfront trail We were there for the kite festival - and rode the trail into town to see it.

It is old and needs basic upkeeping -painting and repair- but it is clean. I need an ADA room for my partner - and, wanting the ocean view, brought my own equipment. I discovered the room I was in was considered an ADA room - I was glad I brought it as there were no grab bars in the (very roomy) bathroom.

Great location on/in Long Beach. We paid a bit extra for the ocean view and it was definitely worth it. Otherwise you have a view of the parking lots. The rooms were big, with a round table to sit at, and a nice balcony to take in the ocean air/breezes. At the back of the hotel, there is a nice wind-protected lounge area with a place for a fire. There is also a beach volleyball court and two cornhole courts/sets, which were a nice touch. The selection at breakfast was good.

The breakfast room was a bit "depressing" with no windows and everything was throwaway (paper/plastic dishes, cups, cutlery). This is unfortunate, especially because it is not sustainable and it makes everything feel really "cheap".

The location is perfect, right next to the beach, and a great sea view from the third floor. The pool was great, and the room was spacious and stuffed with different kitchenware. Even beach chairs were provided. Bicycles are also available upon request.

We asked to sweep in front of our apartment, and there was some sand. My wife and I asked several times - no one came. Also, the hotel can arrange a few more outdoor fire pit tables, at least for the high season. We were trying to get one for ourselves, but they were always occupied by other people.

I liked the attitude of the staff. We were in bad weather and freezing rain. I liked that as soon as the announcement about bad weather and the closure of a number of roads due to ice passed, the hotel wrote to us and called us with an offer to cancel the reservation free of charge and a warning about such a situation. I also liked that, just in case, there was an additional heater in the room in case it was needed. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, despite the fact that in the city itself not all cafes were open due to the weather. From the unexpected, I liked that near the drink machines opposite the pool there was a piano in the same space. This is just great for children who need daily activities.

I didn't like the condition of the pool and jacuzzi. we looked and decided not to wear them. I really hope that this was a one-time situation and that everything is usually fine.

Love the 3rd floor rooms with the beautiful ocean view! Their free breakfast is pretty amazing. And the fresh coffee in the breakfast area is the best. Strong and delicious. Used the beach bikes on the Discovery Trail and we were surprised how good the bikes were to ride and really enjoyed the trail! The staff were very friendly, helpful and excellent to work with.

We have no complaints.

Loved the fire pits with lounging space and the bbq’s. Nice walk to the beach. Beds were comfy and pretty close to town. Pet friendly and lots of green space. Clean and friendly! Would stay again with our family for sure.

It looks like the property is getting updated so that’s great as it’s in need of some TLC inside and outside. The rooms were very dated. Looking forward to seeing the updates! It will look great.

Beautiful rooms, clean facilities, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. I enjoyed having adult time in the swimming pool and adults only in the hot tub. The rooms were fully stocked with everything needed, including board games for the kids. The balconies in our condos were amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer.

The breakfast was out of most of the food an hour into breakfast. The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. The showers were cold when my niece tried to take a shower. We did reserve a room that said it was pet friendly, but learned before our arrival that it was a mistake on booking.coms end for advertising the room as such, when it was actually a nonpet friendly room. No coffee maker in our condo was a little surprising.

Loved our view of the ocean on the 3rd floor. Appreciated the elevator as our friend needed it after having a stroke. Rooms are not fancy but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Lucked out with beautiful weather and enjoyed watching the sunset from our deck! And, the free breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen. Cheese omelettes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit and other options.

Coffee in the room wasn’t very good but the coffee in the lobby and breakfast was excellent.

The location and friendly service, and they had a nice breakfast.

Our patio doors were very bad, we had no screen and it got really hot in our room and didnt feel comfortable leaving a door wide open to strangers. That truly was our biggest complaint. The back patio bench was rotten wood, and no screen on our door.

It was fine but is a work in progress , you can see they are working hard to upgrade and refurbish an older building. The important things like great beds, furnishings , pool , hot tub were in good condition . The management was helpful and the beach was great! I’ll stay there again

The breakfast was sparse.they need to add more cereal choices , a waffle maker, muffins.
