I never imagined such an amazing place was so close to home! Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa is truly world-class yet feels warm and welcoming. The waterfront villa with an open bathroom was a unique experience, so close to nature. We enjoyed every moment – cycling, fishing, canoeing, bamboo rafting, pedal boating, a sunset cruise on Vembanad Lake, and even the cultural program in the evening. The kids had a blast at the play area and pools. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great mix of Kerala flavours and international dishes. A big thank you to Anju at the front desk and Chef Mahesh for making our stay extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an incredible stay at the Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Kumarakom. The ambience and location were simply breathtaking, perfectly capturing the serene beauty of Kumarakom. The Superior Room was amazing—spacious, luxurious, and impeccably maintained. The food buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Activities were plentiful and enjoyable, including a swimming pool, fishing, walking trail, gym, and more. The room service was top-notch, with staff being attentive and prompt. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! 🌟

Our stay at this resort was nothing short of amazing—an experience we’ll always remember. Beyond the excellent facilities, it was the warmth and professionalism of the staff across every department that truly stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Our heartful thanks to Mr Anumon for the wonderful support. We originally booked for just one night but were so impressed with the service and atmosphere that we extended our stay by another day. This resort is fortunate to have such a dedicated team, and we hope they continue to uphold these high standards. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to others!

Extremely well maintained property. The place is huge and you can take a leisure walk which is very relaxing. They have almost all the activities included in the package. They have a lot of food options in the buffet and the food was brilliant. Staff is very friendly too.

I can honestly not say enough good things about Gokulam resort. Our stay here made our trip one of the best trips we ever had. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. They treated our kids like their own. A special thanks to Parvathy and her team, we had the most amazing meals and they treated the kids so well. Our son basically wanted to stay at the resort forever because of the kind staff. The rooms were big and immaculate. Anything you ask for you get within minutes. The grounds are kept up beautifully. We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest resorts and best service we’ve stayed at all around. They have special events going on all day, like yoga, boat ride and afternoon tea. We stayed at a more expensive hotel right after this and it didn’t even compare to this hotel. I would highly recommend the resort to anybody!

Nothing, it was perfect

One of the best properties I’ve stayed at for a holiday! The landscaping and rooms were fabulous. The location by the lake was unbelievable! Also the whole property was pristine and super clean! The food and service was superb! Also I have to mention this, since this was by the water, NOT A SINGLE MOSQUITO ANYWHERE!!! Unbelievable!! I went there with my entire family, my wife and I, my daughter from the US, my sister from Canada and my parents from Thrissur.

Staff are incredible - warm, attentive and accommodating. Helped us sort out a transfer to the airport and late check out with a midnight flight. We were able to use the facilities ie the pool until we had to leave at 6. Was the best way to spend our last day in Kerala. Special thanks to Anju and Rejimond! Exceedingly professional they made our stay so comfortable and welcoming! Rooms are spacious and beds super comfy. Great buffet offering - lots of freshly made options eg dosa, naan, parota, and even papdi chaat for one dinner. Loved the pool and loungers as well. Didn't feel super crowded, which was nice! And the location was wonderful.

Inclusions were a nice touch (eg cultural event/boat trip) felt a bit DIY, but would be amazing if they offered optional paid activities as well to help elevate the experience.

An excellent resort. Everything is immaculate and clean, with great pool & plenty of free activities. We had fantastic customer service and attentiveness by resort staff was excellent - they were wonderful with our 1 year old daughter also. A special thank you to Anju, who spent time to help me translate part of a wedding best man speech from English to Malayalam which made the wedding that much more special!

A great addition would be to provide barista-made coffee in the restaurant rather than filter coffee if at all possible !

Good location. The ambience is excellent. Service is good. Staff very courteous

The mutton biriani I took for the lunch was not to my expectation. The spices were not adequately flavoured and it had an unusual taste. The cultural Programe in the open air was good but difficult to attend becos of problem with mosquitoes. I think for a place like that it would be difficult to conduct such a program in the open air in the evening. I think you should go for a netted enclosure in the open air fabricated in such a way as not to spoil the esthetics of the place
