You folks hit it out of the park! Everyone at Domus were kind, friendly,helpful and accommodating. I loved staying at your hotel, the beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and appreciated the daily room service. The breakfast was perfect and your server was polite, attentive and friendly. I’m sorry I did not get everyones names, but the other person who i would like to recognize is the blonde front desk women. She went above and beyond to help, inform and provide information as needed. She was great Thank you for such a wonderful experience

We loved this local hotel in a neighborhood setting in Munich to really get into the local culture with many restaurants and cafes close by and walking distance to so many sites of interest to holiday/vacation travelers. The daily breakfast was absolutely wonderful!! We are early risers, so the weekday mornings with kids arriving to the school across the street did not disturb us. It was actually fun watching how the kids arrived on the special bicycles with riding areas up front pedaled by a parent. The church bells of the nearby church were fun to listen to as well. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street and school. We had a room with a refrigerator and the hot pot for boiling water for provided tea and coffee was used at least once daily. The 24-hour front desk was a bonus for answering questions and knowing that we could be out in the city later into the night. Room key is heavy fob, so you leave it at desk when gone for the day. Friendly staff in all positions!!

Balcony was small but could there be two chairs and a small table set on it to sit down and have a cup of coffee and or tea to enjoy the crisp air. No small microwave to re-heat leftover food brought back as take away food, as portions for dinner are exceptionally good sized from local cafes/restaurants.

The location of the Hotel Domus is on a quiet residential street with not a lot of traffic. It is within walking distance to the major tourist attractions. There is also a subway station close to the hotel. The room was beautiful and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Our room also had a balcony. The breakfast was outstanding with a variety of items to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay at the Hotel Domus again when I visit Munich.

I have no complaints at all!

We had a great stay at the domus hotel in Munich, during Oktoberfest. There were 6 of us, in 3 separate rooms. All rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was in a relatively quiet area during the evening/night. There is an elementary school across the street, and the kids were having fun (loud) during recess, which is to be expected, just something to be aware of if you're needing to catch some ZZZ's from about 7ish am to 2 pm or so, whenever school is in session. The hotel breakfast was wonderful each morning, with a variety of cold cuts, cheeses and breads, along with scrambled eggs and either sausage or bacon in warming dishes. Several different fruit juices were available, and the hostess asked us each morning if we would like coffee or tea brought to our table. Very nice. While the hotel has parking available with access via an elevator to their lobby, we were fortunate enough to find open air parking just across the little road from the hotel. Perfect spot. Just had to make sure to feed the meter as needed. The hotel is located a short 3 or 4 minute walk from a subway station, so that was very convenient when going to the Oktoberfest grounds. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if ever in Munich in the future.

Just a few very minor things to note. The rooms were fairly small, but probably "typical" for most European hotel's in this price range. If a light to moderate sleeper, and planning to sleep in past 7 or 8 am, it might be a good idea to close the windows and draw the curtains to help keep some of the noise from the elementary school playground out. Not a big deal for us though, even with the windows open for fresh air, as we were wanting to get up around that time anyway. Just something to be aware of.

The location was very good, only a 100 metre walk to the underground station to go anywhere in the city including the airport (one change). The breakfast was good, the staff pleasant and the room was very comfortable and clean.

There was no aircon in the room, not normally and issue in Munich but is was quite warm while we were there and the supplied fan did not really meet our needs. We could have asked reception for a larger fan but it really wasn't that big an issue for us.

Friendly staff, location is great - very close to Lehel U station. The area is quiet and has many cool cafes, stores, and restaurants. A 15-minute walk to the old town. Big room, balcony, great shower. Great breakfast - good variety and fresh.

The room had no Air Conditioner which was a disappointment. There is a cooler fan that you can use, and if you open the balcony door there is a good breeze from outside. But if you are an AC person it may be hard. There is a church right outside that rings the bells a few times in an hour - when the balcony's windows are closed it's OK, but if you sleep with an open window the noise from outside may wake you up.

The location close to underground made travel to the centre a breeze. Proximity to the English Garden & the Residence was great. The variety of local restaurants was fabulous. The atmosphere was relaxing. Friendly & helpful staff. We appreciated the breakfast service.

The only downside were the pillows which were not sufficiently supportive.

The Domus Hotel was on a narrow, quiet street in the old part of Munich but was close to an Underground stop and therefore convenient to almost anywhere in the old city you'd like to visit. I loved hearing the voices of school children playing in the school yard across the street, and the sounds of the church bells ringing out the hours. I also loved the small cafes, wine bars, and restaurants that were in the neighborhood. Everything about the hotel was definitely unpretentious: clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and quiet, with a small number of guests (I think a total of 5 floors with 9 rooms on each floor). The room where a complimentary breakfast was available each morning was also attractive, comfortable, and quiet, with a nice variety of foods to choose from along with very friendly service. The people staffing the front desk were also friendly—professional, courteous, and always helpful. This was the first time I've been to Munich, and I can't think of a hotel where I'd rather spend a few days if I ever return. I only wish there were choices like the Domus Hotel available in the United States.

There wasn't really anything I can think of that I didn't like.

I loved the quiet location which was so close to everyplace I wanted to go. The proximity to cafes and shops was convenient. The metro train was only steps away. I'd come back next time.

The shower was a slippery. I would at least put up a warning sign. Some travelers may not be aware of where to place the shower mat. It would be nice to have some safety grab bars in that particular shower.

The list would be too long - so I have to say everything! Wonderful location, only 120m to Lehel U-station (you can reach the city centre and English garden in 5 minutes). Lovely old-town look, nice and quiet neighbourhood with shops and great restaurants nearby. Hotel stuff was most amazing! Everything was super comfy and clean. Please, do not skip breakfast - this was the biggest surprise how good the breakfast actually was!
