This hotel is really so great, I don’t even know from where to begin. First of all, while checking in we got an upgrade from the junior suite to the superior suite, which was a very nice surprise. If you’re looking for a nice beach resort, there are no doubts that this is the best hotel to stay in: crystal clear waters and white sands just a few steps away from the room. Then, when you turn your head to the left, there’s a breathtaking, dramatic view of Le Morne. There are lots of water activities that you can do, we enjoyed the pédalo and boat with glass bottom (our son enjoyed seeing sea turtles and fish) There are 4 restaurants in the resort, and they’re all really good (keep in mind that for the Blue Marlin, men can not wear shorts). This is nice to have if you’re staying for a long period, you’ll have more variety of cuisines. Also, breakfast is served in 2 restaurants so you can choose the one you prefer. We personally loved the breakfast spot at Zest, as the view is so serene and relaxing, right by the sea and boats. There is an amazing kids club, very highly recommended for you to either leave your kids with the super friendly staff, or just spend some time with your children there. We were very impressed by this to be honest. The staff is very friendly, always smiling, accommodating and super helpful. Special thanks to Kavita our housekeeper. If you’re a golfer , they also have nice golfing fields. Their spa is also really great. So if you’re hesitating with your hotel options, I’m here to tell you, don’t think twice, definitely go with Paradis Beachcomber. We’re already very excited in visiting again.

The beach and the overall design was beautiful. The food was great too

We booked the honeymooners only package on half board for 2 nights. The beachcomber website clearly states what the package entails (screenshot attached to the review) and that lunch should be complimentary for half board. However, upon arrival we were told that we would only benefit from lunch if booked for more than 4 nights, which is not true as the website clearly states that the 4 night rule refers for the free couple experience and so complimentary lunch should have been applied for 2 nights also.

- quiet and large room - comfortable beds - friendly stuff - beautiful beach - La Ravanne restaurant is real treasure - weekly activities fitted our expectations - honeymoon package was nice (we took hiking option) - same category hotel in different location offers more but in South Mauritius/Le Morne this is one of best places to stay

- high prices in restaurants (3000 rupies in bufet per person is a lot event though there is wide selection of meals) - no choice to eat outside resort + you can't simply leave resort by walking (it is very far and separated) - stuff forgot to order us breakfast basket before our half-day trip to the mountains and we're hungry without energy (we got free lunch instead but 2 hours after I first contacted reception. Asking several people for compensation was a bit disappointing...) - stuff contacts you more than often and sometimes it is disturbing and employees should communicate more together otherwise if there is a problem to solve you need to explain same thing to 5 people until fifth is finally capable to help you - I would advise to train better employees or hire real profesionals

Amazing hotel under Le Morne mountain with sun-drenched beaches. Great breakfast and dinner, bus to the next-door Dinarobin hotel, beautiful nature, clear sea without algae, relaxing 🤗🫶

Fantastic! Amazing resort on an even better location. Gorgeous beaches, great sports facilities, good food. Rooms are super spacious (I got a free upgrade :)), cleaning multiple times daily, bright, comfortable. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Will definitely come back.

The dinner options (I only had breakfast) at the hotel are pretty pricey, but the food is really good. Lots of families with small (screaming) kids.

Didn’t remember my wifes birthday celebration even though i message and informed in advance the reason for our stay

Everything about this place is just perfect, if I could give them a 10 star rating I would. Staff are extremely friendly, location is the best in Mauritus (we stayed at 3 different locations around the island) there’s nothing negative to say. If you are on your honeymoon, family vacation or solo traveller, Beachcomber resorts have found a way to accommodate everything with the highest attention to detail.

We had the best time! We would definitely visit again! The staff were professional, kind and lovely. We really enjoyed the facilities at the hotel, tennis, table tennis, the pools and glass bottom boat trip (we saw sea turtles swimming). The beach was also lovely to swim in and we enjoyed the food at the hotel. Kids liked the kids club activités as there is a soccer field where all the kids and some adults gathered to play soccer in the evenings! The sega dancing a highlight

Staff driving the golf carts like it's a race track!!! Our driver for a check-out transfer to a lobby area, was driving so fast that one of the suitcases landed on the palm tree. We didn't notice until arriving at the MRU airport that the suitcase was damage! Also, Doing the reservations for every night dinner was too much! (Unless you have 6-8-10 people party, sure, request reservation). It was too much to think about the dinner every day. Overall nice hotel, Many families with small children - maybe It should be area for a hotel where families with children can stay - something to consider.
