The staff were friendly and helpful. Full English breakfast was great. The bedroom was a good size and recently decorated. Our dogs were welcomed. We were not disturbed by being over a pub and their evening food was great too. I made a mistake with my booking and this was helpfully accommodated by the Inn.

The pub itself is desperately in need of money to be spent on the fabric of the building and the furnishings within. Seats were covered in stains and the carpets were well past their best. The windows look like they would be drafty in winter but no problems in our bedroom itself (except a few more carpet stains).

The staff at the Manor Inn made me welcome and stored my bike safely as I was cycle touring. They fitted me in for dinner even though I hadn't booked that meal ahead - thank you. The food at the Manor Inn was delicious and good value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable and I enjoyed my overnight stay.

There was an issue with the door lock being out of line and hard to lock the room, but I was shown the knack by the staff! The handbasin the in the ensuite bathroom wasn't draining properly, it took a long time to drain even from cleaning one's teeth. The toilet seat was wobbly, but the toilet was in a cramped corner, so it was difficult to sit straight, which I think had caused the problem. A partial solution would be to move the loo roll holder from beside the toilet to directly in front, above the towel rail, as that would give more space for sitting!

We were staying for 1 night to attend a wedding reception at a nearby golf club. The location was perfect for us as we could easily get to the wedding venue on my mobility scooter/ walking. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Our short stay meant we were unable to sample their other meals.

Very steep staircase down to the bars/ breakfast room. Though there was a more accessible entrance with just 2 or 3 steps. Unfortunately for me I found the mattress very hard on my arthritic bones but for 1 night it was not a big problem.

We had a beautiful, comfortable and spacious room. with large, newly decorated shower room. Very helpful staff, made us and our small dog most welcome. No problem parking. Good choice of menu for dinner, with plenty of dining space inside and out on a patio. Super, full English breakfast. Close to National Trust Greenway, where you could easily spend most of a day. Would definitely stay here again.

No problems. If you didn't eat in the hotel in the evening, you may need to drive somewhere for an alternative, but we didn't check this out.

Absolutely fantastic! The whole set up was just great.... Lovely location, lovely old building with charm, evidence in the public area that it had been visited many times over the years by locals and travellers..... Obviously popular! The room we stayed in was a wonderful surprise, very spacious, really clean, brilliant shower room, good decor and facilities but above all the staff were really welcoming, friendly and polite.

Nothing! That's why my son and myself commented Ten out of ten in the visitor's book. On reflection, would not hesitate to stay there again!

Liked absolutely everything, have stayed there before.... Will definitely stay again in the near future. Staff, food and location just great!

Not a criticism, just a suggestion...... The toilet in the room we had could maybe do with positioning perpendicular to the corner to give one plenty of legroom, being as neither my son nor I could use it without having to sit round at an angle. I feel maybe some other guests would have the same problem.

A proper traditional English pub. A little dated pub decor but the, atmosphere and genuine service and attitude, najs up fid that, excellent. Food, a limited selection but cooked fresh and to a high standard, the cote de boeuf, would take pride of place at any top restaurant!! Room 4, spacious, just refurbished and well appointed. The pub is dog friendy. The staff genuinely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast good. Thank you Manor Inn. Nigel & Carmel.

Shower a little slow but a minor point!!

Our room was large and bright with double aspect windows. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothes etc.All as clean as you would expect. The food was very good. Although not as extensive menu as you might find in one of the larger pub chains, there was a good choice and what was on offer definitely didn’t disappoint! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was great.

My least favourite thing about the Manor Inn was the car park. It has quite a steep slope so might not suit everyone.

Staff were super friendly on arrival, great sized room and bathroom. Free Wifi. Comfortable beds. Exceptional Breakfast. We didn't eat at the Manor Inn the evening of arrival, but if the breakfast was anything to go by, I expect the food would have been lovely too! Good selection on Beers etc on tap and a proper pub with some character / history. Will definitely be back on the next visit down to Brixham.

We stayed 2 nights in the "superior room" which was comfortable and spacious, close to the car park and quiet. Dinner was of good quality and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The charge for our 2 dogs was reasonable at £10 per night and not the normal annoying rip off. The location is quiet and handy for Greenaway, Brixham, Dartmouth etc.
