It was a good value. The bed was comfortable. The room was fit for purpose....just a very basic room (It was one of those old motels along old US99W. The room seemed to be fairly freshly painted and generally well maintained so it didn't have that worn look. It was quiet. They had bright security lights in the parking lot. I like it that it is one story and you park right in front of the room. Other more modern motels in the area are two story and if you are on the upper floor, you have to carry your stuff up the stairs. Coffee, microwave, and small refrigerator in the room. The WiFi was slow, but compared to the other motels in town, I never had trouble getting and keeping the signal.

Some of the wood furniture was worn. Some sanding and stain would fix that in a jiffy. Again, not a big deal. These old style rooms do not have a lot of extra power outlets. This is an issue with most places that are older than 15 years. The room had a single window air conditioner. It got the room cool pretty quickly, then I shut it off and opened the windows. I don't mind warm valley temperatures in the room at night if I have fresh air. If someone needs cool and quiet, they likely would not like the cooling set up.

I was there for viewing birds at the nearby Sacramento Wildlife Refuge and also at Gray Lodge Wildlife Refuge, so I just needed what was provided: a clean quiet room at the end of the day to sleep in.

Williams is a truck stop town and buildings in the “business district” are many years old.

We love to find the quaint older motels when traveling. The space was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

The pool wasn’t heated. However, we appreciate managing resources to keep costs down as we are usually looking for a good value when all we really need is a place to clean up and rest.

In walking distance to a grocery store & rite next to an very good Mexican restaurant.

There’s not much to say here…maybe no breakfast option is the only thing to upgrade here. This is a hidden gem.

No bulls$%t motor hotel (yes, park in front of your door like its 1954). Great staff. Classic feel. Cute hotel. Stage Stop is conveniently located, quiet, and cozy. I have read where others thought that the furniture was outdated and showing its age. Well kinda; however, as an aging hotel this is exactly the right furniture and works as expected. It is not dangerous or falling apart. It is clearly clean and well maintained. Your hipster brother-in- law would be jealous. The bed was very comfy and linens clean and in great shape. 10/10 will stay again

The only thing.... small, shallow pool.... would be great for my kids but not really a great swimming pool... that's not much to complain about tho.

A hidden gem off the main street. Clean and comfortable. Room is large. The couple that own the Stage Stop are great people. We stay here whenever traveling I5.

Hotel was very clean, the owner was super friendly, grateful they allowed dogs and the pet fee was not outrageous.

Mattress was a little hard

Just off I-5 and easy to find. Extra-large room (#15) with comfy bed, large shower, good wifi, and authentic Mexican restaurant next door.

No breakfast - ok. In-room coffee enough for only one person - not ok.

Staff was very friendly

Slightly out dated. A couple of areas I would like to see better, like shower curtain. The towels were clean, however they were not stain free.
