They make homemade banana bread! And an omelet to order! This place is the best. Rooms are so cozy and clean. And the price is so reasonable. Most hotels at this price are a little sketchy but this place proves that you can have affordable choices that feel like home. The landscaping is simple but has beautiful flowers, the breakfast is delicious and fresh, a real breakfast, it is right in the Snake river and there is a great loop you can walk along the river. The hotel is older and all the rooms have been updated. They are the perfect size, not too big that you feel you are in a cold unfeeling cave, these rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. All hotels should be run with the same pride as this place.

This hotel is right across the street from the river, so it’s a great location. It looked to be newly renovated and was very clean. The flat screen was a big one, which we appreciated because of hockey playoffs 🙂. The pool was closed for the season still but the hot tub was open and that was also super clean and wonderfully maintained. The breakfast was the best out of all the hotels we have stayed at during this trip (five of them) and had an actual omelette bar. They also had fresh chocolate chip cookies when we checked in.

The parking lot was a little tight. The room was pretty small, but this is also an “old school” type hotel (meaning the architecture, not anything in the rooms or facility, which were all renovated and modern), and that’s how they were built back then 🙂. So it was fine!

The Driftwood Inn has the ambience of a vintage property. Flowers abound to make the property look attractive. I like being welcomed, as if I were entering someone’s private home. I also was able to select my own room which I found advantageous.Warm, homemade cookies were available upon arrival.. The breakfast was delicious and even included, not only waffles, but pancakes. there were complementary bikes available, painted in vivid colors, complementary for the guest pleasure.

I had been on the road for 10 nights out of a 30 day trip and when I landed at the Driftwood Inn, I thought I had had nirvana

Loved ❤️ Everything about this place!! The location was across from the River and Idaho Falls Temple!! Views were breathtaking Room had a jacuzzi bathtub, Big Shower, Comfortable King Bed, Kitchenette (with utensils and dishes). Outside pool, Continental Breakfast was the best ever!! All the workers helpful and accommodating!! My new favorite place to stay and not far from home. I’m Glad we were on bottom ground area and not having to do the stairs to the upstairs rooms.

People driving fast loud cars on street in front of motel late at night. Should have speed bumps or police monitoring the road.

I liked everything about the property. This place is wonderful. The room was very charming and comfortable as well as very clean. The staff was fantastic. Breakfast was great, so was the location. The grounds were very pretty. I will stay here again. Family friendly as well. They go the extra mile for their guests. Lots of small things that make you feel welcome. It makes a difference.

The refrigerator in the room would sometimes make a high pitched noise. I believe the refridgerator is going. The hotel is probably unaware of the issue. I am sure they will fix it once they find out. I have not reported it yet.

Friendly breakfast staff with excellent breakfast - reason we keep coming back! Also, the friendly check-in hosts.

On two different nights from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. or so, we had very loud thumping from the room above, like a child jumping off the bed and running around, or heavy people stomping around. It kept us awake. I reported it to the desk clerk the next morning.

Easy access from interstate, friendly staff, clean. Breakfast had vast variety, & the environment was welcoming & quiet. Omelet bar was really nice & the lady tending to it was so quick and friendly.

I brought my own ground coffee. So I was a little disappointed to see the Keurig. I realize many like them, however, they are extremely toxic to us with the microplastics. Not to mention all those K-Cups heading to our landfills. Drip coffee pot would have been more preferable.

Starting with the exceptionally personable lady at the front desk that checked us in (apologies for not getting her name); the hotel room was immaculate with a beautiful view of the river (Rm # 37), the room was huge & very well appointed. The breakfast outstanding! I will tell you unequivocally, in terms of value, this was the best room I have ever stayed in! I have stayed in nicer rooms in Paris, Rome, Prague, Bangkok, New York, Boston, LA, LV, Miami ......, that are substantially more expensive, my comment pertains to value, it vastly exceeded my expectations.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The girls that looked after breakfast were brilliant - they cooked eggs and omelettes to order and they kept the breakfast area spotlessly clean. Breakfast area is small but it was always quiet when we ate so didn't have any problems. We ate at Copper Rill which is just along the road and you could walk to. Set along the river you could have a lovely walk, unfortunately when we stayed it was heavy rain. I'd stay here again. It's a small motel and the rooms are set on 2 floor. We had a upstairs room which suits us as that way we don't have any noise.

The room was old school exceptionally large which we loved. It was on the second story and a short walk from where we parked which was fine. The big surprise was the awesome breakfast. They offered everything a person would have normally have for a great breakfast but over the top was the made to order omelette station ! We did not expect that. Amazing! The proximity to a wonderful walk along the river was pretty sweet... and along the walk we could see several dinner options plus new restaurants under construction. We will have to return to experience a longer stay in the future.
