The biggest highlight of the stay was Antonio, our host. He met us in the main square of Capri to lead us to our room and help transport luggage. At the same time, he sent messages prior to the visit to provide instructions on how to reach the main square. He spent a worthwhile 10 minutes explaining the map of the island and worthwhile places to go and eat. And throughout the trip, he would provide recommendations and answered any questions we had. Beyond the amazing host, the room was spacious and perfectly located (a short walk to the main area, and away from the crowds). Also, the room had a mini fridge with champagne, soda, and water, all at no cost. I was incredibly pleased with staying at Fuorlovado 40!

Excellent location. Host met us in the main square on arrival and helped with luggage which was much appreciated. We were given some excellent recommendations and the service was definitely 5*. Have recommended to our family and friends already! We were also able to leave our luggage on day of check out which gave us extra time to explore the island which was much appreciated.

Noise in the morning from other guests checking out due to proximity of rooms. Nothing major and can’t be helped but did wake us up.

Antonio was the most accommodating host and we have never received such amazing customer service!! He was very informative before we arrived and during our entire stay with any question or query no matter how big or small and went above and beyond in showing us a detailed map of Capri as well as amazing recommendations for places to go to visit and eat!! Additionally the room was very modern and clean and much larger than we expected. Air conditioning was super cold like back home in Australia which was needed after the hot days we had while we were there in June! Antonio also gladly stored our bags before and after departing and offered a complimentary mini bar which was not something that we expected. Best experience so far while staying away traveling and were made to really feel welcomed and comfortable. We honestly cannot rave about Antonio and his property enough! He always replied promptly if we had any questions and the location was perfect!! So glad I found this hidden gem while booking our amazing month long trip to Greece and Italy!!

There was nothing that we didn’t like and we were so impressed with Antonio and his property!! Highly recommend staying here in Capri and would gladly come back again in the future!! Was some construction next door but didn’t really hear much noise.

Immaculate, beautiful with modern updates, newly renovated, incredible location, very spacious. Antonio was a wonderful resource every step of our trip. He sent helpful messages before and throughout our stay with recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and everything else we requested. He also arranged porters for our luggage. He even met us at the top of the funicular and gave us a tour of the town and helped with our bags. Antonio even left us a treat at check-in, and some refreshments and wine in our room! Perfect location for our short stay in Capri, cannot recommend this place and the extra touches highly enough!

The host, Antonio, was fantastic. Upon arrival, he gave us an in-depth rundown of the island with comprehensive restaurant recommendations and must visit attractions. Any questions throughout our stay were met with prompt and detailed replies on WhatsApp. The room itself was clean, spacious and perfectly located. The fridge was well stocked and the bathroom was sizeable too. We are planning on returning to Capri and will definitely be staying here again!

Our stay at Antonio's property in Capri was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Antonio was incredibly kind and helpful. We loved the minibar filled with cokes, water, and beers - a perfect treat after a day of sightseeing. The bottle of champagne was an unexpected and lovely surprise, and it made our stay feel extra special. One of the highlights was when Antonio booked a restaurant for us. It turned out to be a fantastic choice, and we enjoyed a delicious meal thanks to his recommendation. If you're planning a trip to Capri, I highly recommend staying at Antonio's property. Not only is the location great and the room comfortable, but Antonio's hospitality and genuine care for his guests truly made our experience memorable. nothing to complain at all

In Capri you want to stay in a place which is easily accessible. You cannot get better location and value for money than with Fuorlovado 40 which is 5 minutes by foot from cable car and the main square. It is particularly conveniently located if you would like to visit Villa Jovis and Parco Astarita both with breath-taking views (you don’t want to miss that!), Arco Naturale or for Pizzolungo path. Even a tennis club is 5 minutes away as well as the best ice cream on the island at Buonocore. My room was super clean, quiet, and exactly as in pictures, and included refrigerator with water and other beverages that are replenished daily. I would particularly like to thank Antonio (Capri born and bred) who manages Fuorlovado, for his time and patience to explain the best and easiest way to see best of Capri, who genuinely cared that I had a great stay, was happy to book restaurants for me, and always with a smile! Thank you, Antonio and Fuorlovado, I hope to be back soon!

Great location in the centre of town equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host Antonio provided an exceptional service going well out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. He recommended where to go and what to see as well as book us a restaurant for our evening meal. If I could give more than 10 stars I would.

Location was very good. The apartament is exactly as the photos. Antônio, the host, was super carefull / gentle - always available for questions and support. Good suggestion of less touristic restaurants on the Island. Extra points for being portuguese speaker 🥳

Antonio was an amazing host from start to finish! He greeted us at the main square helping us with our luggage, recommending all the best spots to enjoy/eat as we passed through the beautiful streets of Capri! Incredible attention to detail, the room was so comfortable with a cute little patio to enjoy our generous complimentary drinks! Can't recommend a stay here enough, just wish we had more time!
