Everything. The heated pool was such an amazing amenity, the lake and recreational floats like kayaks and (our favorite) the pedal boat made the stay that much better. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they provided papers that informed of all local eateries and attractions. The rooms were clean and modern, and overall the property is just beautiful. Definitely exceeded all expectations by miles; never been to a better motel.

Not a big fan of how the pools and the lake closes at 8 - there are no life guards anyway, it would be nice to take a paddle boat out to the lake at night to see the stars from the water. Aaaaaand that’s about it, everything else we couldn’t have asked for better.

Lakeside motel on Lake Luzerne. Lovely, clean, lake with no large engine motor boats. The main motel consists of 12 rooms with #12 being closest to the lake. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards made available for free. Pet friendly. We brought our border collies and they had a blast swimming in the lake.

BEWARE: there is a second building called the North location that IS NOT on the lake. The rooms seem comfortable, but you would have to walk down busy rte. 9 to get to the main motel and access the lake. This is NOT made clear on Booking.com. We were initially placed in this North building, but when we complained that Booking.com did not make this distinction clear, the manager accommodated us in Room #1 which is a wonderful family suite. Two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bath. Some negative details: window air conditioner not properly sealed so bugs could get in. We had to stuff towels around. The outdoor sitting area was poorly kept up including a few old boards with rusty nails.

The newly renovated motel is beautiful, clean, and quiet and very comfortable! The lake is a great place to relax and enjoy the provided paddle boards and row boats! The heated pool is also great!! I can't say enough about the owner. Pam, she is a wonderful person and truly wants your stay to be great!! Her staff is also very kind, courteous, and willing to point out great restaurants and points of interest in the area.

The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been more time just to spend hanging out at the lake.

The hotel is right on a small and quiet lake, with a private beach, kayaks and canoes for use and a place for a fire pit. The room was clean and had a microwave, coffee maker, wifi, TV and fridge. The bed was very comfortable, nice shower and everything was recently painted. It smelled nice and clean, and the bathroom had nice shampoo and soap dispensers. There was self-check-in/out via an app; it's recommended to download it before you get there as the cell signal is a little bit low there. There is a public beach about a block or so down the road. It'ss quiet and peaceful. The location is beautiful and really close to Lake George, which has lots of activities and a nice walkable town and waterfront.

We liked this place a lot. It's basic in terms of service, no breakfast or daily maid service. We didn't mind it at all, but that might be important to some people. We drove about 10 minutes toward Lake George and there were lots of places for breakfast lunch and dinner. It was hard to find reviews as this place seems to use different or related properties with more than one name. We were a little worried, but were happy when we arrived. There is no pool, which some of the listings showed. The room we booked was "Lakeside" but only the last room has lake view on both sides, but when you walk out of any room, the lake is only a 100 or so feet away, so it's a nice place to be :)

Motel is next to Luzerne lake with free kayaks, Conroe, paddle boards and row boat for guests to use. Luzerne lake is beautiful and peaceful. We like to have drinks, readings and naps on the decks in front of the water. Motel owner, Pam was friendly and helpful. We had a very nice meal with our dog at The Hitching Post Pam recommended. We will be back soon!

Perhaps windows/door need screens, so room can have natural air.

It was very comfortable. Looked to be newly renovated and exceptionally clean. Great shower. Bonus that the kayaks, paddle boats and canoes were free for gets. Lovely, quite lake.

The only thing weird was there wasn't an ice machine and we didn't see a staff person the entire visit. When I called with questions, the person answering the phone was incredibly helpful and pleasant, however.

The rooms were renovated and really nice and my family and I absolutely loved the boats/paddle boards left for guest use! It was so nice being able to not only have the view of the lake, but to be able to be out on it too!

There isn’t anything I can think of that I didn’t like. Maybe the fact I didn’t know there were 2 sides to the Motel, Lakeside & Northside. I thought any room would be at the lake, the Northside is a short drive up the street and if you want to get to the lake you have to drive there or walk a little bit down the road.

Lovely, quiet hotel at the small and charming Lake Luzerne. Ideal for anyone visiting the Lake George are who prefers to be away from the crowds and tumult in the Village of Lake George. The heated pool North annex to the hotel at the and access to the lake at the property's private beach at the main building are both great.

Lovely setting on the lake. Well appointed suite sized room (exception: needs a hairdryer). Although we didn’t have time to use all the recreational equipment by the lake, it looked like it would be great fun for families.

Newly renovated rooms with brand new mattress. Very comfortable . This motel was recently purchased and they are continuing to make interior& exterior upgrades. The manager(Pam) is so accommodating . We can’t wait to go back next summer. Great view from our room. Highly recommend Motel Luzerne. A true Gem

Could use a table & chairs. May an iron board & iron. Just suggesting , not complaining
