I love the waterfront location and easy parking and check-in. The staff are great and the included breakfast is quite good. If you have a “park view” you can see Lake Ontario from your room and that is also the quiet side. The pool area is nice too.

Although I was assured the pool was heated it wasn’t. Everyone there that day made the same comments about it being freezing. There is no hot tub. The floors in the changing area are extremely slippery when wet. Should be coated with some kind of non-slip surface. The site said “king pillow-top mattress” which was not correct. It was one of the hardest hotel beds I’ve ever encountered. Should add some mattress toppers or at least make them available on request. I was told they didn’t have any when I made my request.

The location was great. I loved being at the waterfront. I was able to bring my dog, and my kids had a blast in the pool. It was a spacious room and I felt we were very comfortable. Lots of places to eat close by too, so you don't have to drive to get to good food.

The complimentary breakfast was done at 10 a.m., and I wish someone had told us that somewhat because we missed it the first morning. I noticed some stains on the sofa bed cushions when I was putting the cushions back on, so hopefully, they are clean for the next visitor. There wasn't enough parking because local people enjoying the riverfront use the same parking lot as a pay and display lot. It would be great if the lot was just for the hotel. But I get it. I assumed that because I had to pay for parking that there would be parking. They made me a spot, but it was stressful when I arrived.

We attended a wedding at the posh hotel across the parking lot but didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg just for a bed for one night. The photos in the Waterfront hotel ad didn’t do it justice! We expected a tired property but it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious and quiet. The breakfast was typical hotel fare but it hit the spot, and the coffee was terrific. Great value for the money.

There wasn’t an awful lot of places to sit and enjoy breakfast. There was an outdoor patio but having breakfast outside on a cold, damp November morning wasn’t anything we were interested in.

Location- great access to the waterfront and lovely cafes. Price - much cheaper than the Marriott next door. Staff - always helpful and polite. Room size and bedding.

It was unbelievably noisy in the evenings. We honestly thought the music from the parties and salsa dancing we being piped into our room. There was a strong smell which we could not clear. More healthy choices at breakfast please.

Comfortable and spacious room; immediate access to the lakeside park and beautiful views; basic daily breakfast; small pool to freshen up and gym; plenty of great food nearby; great staff, especially Yousif and his team

Had a fantastic stay but guests should know that parking is public and chargeable - can be difficult to get a spot on busy weekends as spaces aren’t guaranteed

Everything was good. We were just a tiny bit disappointed in the view from room 316. The description notes park and lake view, but we could barely see either due to the giant tree blocking the view. It wasn't a big deal, just not the view we expected. The price has increased considerably since our last visit but then everything is more expensive these days. We still had a nice stay.

The hotel is located on the waterfront. It had excellent shops and restaurants in the immediate location to the hotel. Upon arrival staff member was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was basic but ok.

Unfortunately i would have to say communication with guests. Despite emailing the hotel I have still not received a response. Therefore communication not great. In addition seating at breakfast time quite limited.

Staff at check in were very cheery and helpful, expecially because there was a wedding there and no parking to be found. The room was hansomely decorated with a nautical theme in the art; we enjoyed the view over the park, pier and small beach area. Nice place to walk in the evening or morning. Beds were very comfortable, nice shower, everything you needed was there. Very good breakfast - a treat to sit on the patio overlooking the lake.

Location was a plus and a minus. Great place to be, but very crowded area on a weekend; parking and traffic problematic. Would suggest a non-slip mat for the bath/shower.

Property is right on the lakefront. Fantastic location. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and walkway on lakeshore. Comfy beds, nice sized room.

Getting parking was a bit difficult as the lot is shared with the public. We had a small issue with the a/c which we had to solve ourselves. (We called down and front desk was unable to assist and they didn’t offer to send anyone up to help). They stuck us in a room overlooking the roof. We felt being Sunday (aka not so busy), they could have done better, especially since we made a request and only staying 1 night. Overall, was fine.

This was our fifth stay at this hotel. It is close to my family in Burlington. We love being close to the water, the staff is always great. There was a problem with one of the rooms doors, we had two rooms. We told the front desk and within 30 minutes the dead bolt on the door was changed and working perfectly, we were all very impressed and thankful. The second night returning from a family get together we could not find parking; the front desk again was very helpful and within three minutes we had parking. We travel with kids, we love the pool, the park and we feel very safe in this hotel. The rooms are very clean, we love the breakfast in the morning and the variety of items to choose from.

I wish the price was cheaper however it is worth the money.
