The staff was very friendly upon my arrival. I had requested early check-in and this went smoothly. We dined that evening at the Laurel, our servers were Harry and Simon. We were welcome and made to feel like family. My mother in law who is 92 years old enjoyed the extra attention to service. The rooms were clean and the attention to details, a bottle of wine, water extra care. My mother in law Carmen had her first facial and was so pleased with the care. I had a body massage really felt taken care of after long flight.

My sister in law was delayed and we were to get my mother in law room ready as well for early check in but this did not happen. When called that a room was available it was not on the same floor and my mother in law did not feel safe to be alone so she had to stay in our room until another became available on our floor. We saw there was a convention and it was busy, but made for a long day for my mother in law.

Staff at the desk was amazing and super friendly Room views were incredible. Rooms were very nice Onsite parking was great

Cleaning staff were poor: 1) They left our room service tray outside our room for 2 days. The only reason why they eventually took it is because I put it next to the elevator. 2) When our room was cleaned each day they were supposed to leave to bottles of water each day. We stayed 6 days and they didn’t provide water on 3 of those days. Safe didn’t work, eventually got fixed and then didn’t work again.

The first night we drove in and check into our room….this is not our first stay here we love this hotel but the a/c did not want to turn on…..I told the wife let’s just tuff it out and we will talk to them in the am….woke up called down said they would swap us rooms not only did she do that but put us in a suite!!!! I love how nice and sweet the staff is and how clean the hotel is being maintained……I was there 10/5/24 so the young lady at the front desk that morning thank you for making my wife’s Birthday amazing

Hotel Viata is an amazing place. It deserves 10/10 in every category. The front desk staff was excellent and made everything effortless. It is classic customer service and staff at every level exceeded expectations. The room was amazing; it was really a small apartment instead of a hotel room. The bathroom was as big as most hotel rooms. The view from the hill is great. This was such an enjoyable hotel that I am excited to return to Austin for more business and will be sure to stay at Hotel Viata.

The staff was great. Everyone was personable and professional. The suite upgrade we received was a pleasant surprise. Food quality and presentation were great.

The overall atmosphere was great, but there seemed to be a lot of maintenance going on while we were there. (Upon arrival, the usual elevators were out of order so guests were required to use alternate elevators and access hallways with cleaning equipment, storage boxes, and excess equipment everywhere.) The bathroom set up in the suite we had was less private and less functional than usual at an upscale facility such as this.

The location was great in the hotel is beautiful.

When I pulled up, there was no valet anywhere. When I entered inside and went to the counter, there was nobody standing there. I waited a while, and then I saw there was a little bell that i rang. When I rang the bell, then I had good service. I never saw any valet or bellman to help with my bags.

Room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly. The food in the restaurant was good quality. Overall it is somewhere we would stay again if we visited Austin purely for the location and wanting to be outside of the city.

The room was quite dated and dark, not much natural light coming through. The pictures advertised are also dated and perhaps paint a different picture to what is reality. The views from our room was a car park and an office block even on a high floor so not quite as picturesque as we'd hoped which was one of the reasons we picked this place as the pictures sold it. Not a huge issue, just something to note.

Very nice and very comfortable. Staff was excellent! I especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

Wish the poolside bar service was open. Had to go inside to the restaurant/bar to order. The room I stayed in had a small kitchenette and living-dining room combo. The lighting was minimal and even with the curtains wide open, the room remained somewhat dark. Seems like some under cabinet/over counter lighting could easily be installed in the kitchen area to brighten things up.

The location, room and the front desk was excellent! We had great views and the bed was so comfortable! We had the junior suite and I am so glad my husband and I booked this room! We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we visit Austin!

There was a food tray that was left from a previous visitor that was never picked up through out our stay.

Excellent rooms, epic shower, and very comfortable bed. Also the perfect location for what I needed.

The bathroom doors in the room are silly slatted saloon style doors. I was solo so it didn’t make a difference for my visit, but if a couple or family were in one room they offer little privacy from bathroom noises and light coming through.
