Charming older hotel with a few remaining original features. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed. Cleanliness was excellent. The bathroom was very large and well appointed (water pressure was outstanding). Extremely convenient to Old Town Winchester shops and eateries. All staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Check in-check out times are 4pm and 11am. I was disappointed in this (especially the 4 pm check in time) as it felt as though we lost an opportunity to enjoying property like we would at other hotels with more guest friendly check in/check out times (ie; 3pm in and noon out). Please consider changing at least one, if not both, of those times to allow guests more time.

It’s a wonderful Georgian Revival hotel. The staff was wonderful.

The door from the parking lot did not work by pushing the handicap door opener, made it harder to get luggage inside. Our shower leaked under the door, which made quite a mess. However, when I told them about it at the desk, they had the maintenance man go to our room while we were out and he remedied the situation.

The room was attractive, clean, and comfortable; the decor was fitting for this historic, early 20th century hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the historic areas of Winchester by foot; it's walking distance from many of the historic sites and from a number of good restaurants. There is a surface parking lot and parking deck adjacent to the rear of the building for hotel guests with accessible access to the building.

Although the lobby is small with some soft seating, not the generous size one often expects to see in a grand hotel, there is a generous sized, attractive bar area with seating adjacent to the lobby.

The staff was superb. Courteous, friendly and helpful. We love the comfortable feel of the hotel. Its location is ideal for our visits to Winchester. My wife and I have been visiting Winchester for over a decade for little mini vacations and it never fails to delight us.

The only problem was that we could not stay longer.

The location was perfect, and very walkable. Everything was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. This is the nicest room, that I've ever stayed in. The jacuzzi tub was big enough for 2 people, had multiple jet settings, and color changing lights. There were bath robes in the closet, and the whole weekend felt like a spa retreat. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will be staying here again, for sure.

There wasn't much that I didn't like. There was a $15 parking fee for the hotel, which I didn't know about, but we parked in the parking garage, right next door, which cost more. You pay by the hour or day. The hotel parking fee was waived, but it would be nice to know this ahead of time.

Our room was amazing! We stayed in a Junior Suite with a fireplace and hot tub. I have never seen a more beautiful bathroom, and the fireplace in the living room made the atmosphere very cozy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I loved that the hotel had a 1920s theme to its architectural design. The place was stunning everywhere you looked.

The only problem I had was that the food at the restaurant wasn't always prepared well. My fiance ordered a steak, which was tough and dry. Otherwise, considering we were there during inclimate weather, the rest of our stay was very enjoyable.

Fantastic old hotel. So much better than a random chain box hotel. Great bar. Huge rooms, cloud beds/pillows. Easy walk to the outdoor walking mall. Stay here!!

It's not a negative. But the bath toiletries plastic bottles are hard plastic and impossible to squeeze, and I am plenty strong.

The beds are so comfortable with fluffy pillows, the room was very clean, the hotel was pretty, and the location was fantastic where you could walk to everything. Also, parking was easy and the staff was nice!

At first I thought the window was a little small for the room, but I understand it is a historic building so that's what you get! I do wish the window had the option of opening, but I appreciate the soundprooing.

Room was clean, history of the hotel is very interesting, staff was genuinely kind, location of hotel was in walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants, neat to see an old building like this in such good shape, shower was invigorating and the water made you feel so clean!!

Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Spacious bathroom with nice decor and fixtures. There was music in the lounge and coffee in the lobby. Unique pool and jacuzzi.

It overlooks abandoned parking lot so don’t count on views. Hopefully that will change soon. Our room was close to the elevator, which proved to be very noisy. Elevator definitely needs some improvements.
