This resort was amazing! I would highly recommend to everyone! I came as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. There is security at the beach so you are left alone. The beaches were beautiful. The rooms were pristine and amenities perfect, there is even a small gym with some cardio equipment, stationary bike, and some free weights. The staff were exceptional, very attentive and so nice and accommodating! They helped me call the ferry to move my ticket back because I had to stay an extra day! The food was pretty good too, definitely try the pweza (octopus)!

Nothing, it was a perfect stay!

Location right on beach. Inviting reception area. We stayed in one of the bungalows and rom was well-sized and clean. Enough sunbeds and beach/pool towels included. Pool bar, beach bar, coffee shop, gym and onsite spa available. Good and healthy breakfast options. Buffet dinner with new selections every day on a 7-day rotation. Quality and selection was good. Biggest plus is smiling and friendly staff throughout the resort.

The area surrounding the hotel is not inviting you to a walk.

Lovely facilities, staff were really excellent. Cocktails and food are excellent. We were all inclusive which I would highly recommend.

We paid for a sea view room but the room we got could be described as a partial sea view at best which I was really disappointed about. We did get moved the next day to a room with a better (elevated) sea view. Be aware some ‘sea view’ rooms are ground level and are set back from the sea. Not the hotels fault but every time you leave the boundary of the resort you are hassled non stop by people selling things - can’t take a walk along the beach without being followed and constantly ‘sold’ to. The hotel have security on the beach to stop this within the resort ( thank goodness) but it is Very off putting when you are out and about and unfortunately means I am unlikely to visit Zanzibar again.

Nothing much that could be better. If there is small thing that you should know, is the fact that the Hotel is at the beach but the beach is not realy usable. In high tide it is flooded in low time it is covered by calp.

It was on the water

The resort is beautiful and luxurious. The staff is very attentive and helpful. We had a great time at the swim up bar by the pool. Shout out to bartender Raphael for taking good care of us! Also the location with the private beach was very nice. Beautiful sunset views guaranteed!

There is not much to do around the resort, especially at night. At the resort there was some live music on 2 of the 7 nights (weekend) we stayes there and it quit at 21.00-21.30 (which is quite early in our opinion). Not much of a party. Only one bar open after 7 pm. We found the staff at the swim up bar more friendly and more fun than the staff at the beach bar.

Staff were extremely friendly. The resort is stunning with exceptional views. The bars and restaurants are clean.

The resort didn’t have many activities (or they weren’t communicated) and some you have to pay for, such as the sip and paint. The toilets at the pool area needed to be cleaned more often. It was disappointing to know that the resort doesn’t serve lamb or pork which limits the options for those who don’t eat beef.

The location is amazing. The facility was clean and comfortable.The food quality at the restuarant was good, however, the waiting time was too long. Not sure if hunger made it taste better or not.

It seems that the management is going through some sort of transitions. Hence, various cracks surfaced in service quality. In one of the days Internet in the room went off and it took 4 hours to get it fixed, however, the main problem was lack of clear response from the front desk. The transmission quality of television channels in the room was awe fully bad. The waiting time for any meal at the restaurant was long and the bar was not well stocked..

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! Everything exceeded my expectations – the hotel is beautiful, with excellent facilities that offer both comfort and relaxation. The à la carte restaurant was a delightful surprise – delicious food, beautifully presented and impeccably served. A big highlight was Miss Elif, the manager – such a warm and professional presence. We had a lovely conversation, and thanks to her, I got a dream room with a stunning sea view. It made a huge difference in my overall experience! I wholeheartedly recommend this resort and will definitely return!

Wonderful stay. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location. Clean room.

One downside was the evenings. Music only three times a week. If there was music, it was all over by 9:30 PM. There wasn't much around the resort, so we had to go to bed early. Such a shame. We booked through Booking.com, and they advertised live music. And evening entertainment. Unfortunately, we didn't see any of that.
