The team at Casa Dantes Hotel & Spa was truly exceptional—very professional, friendly, and always attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel safe, cared for, and completely at home. The hospitality was warm and genuine, which made our short stay feel incredibly special. One thing I particularly appreciated was how close the property is to the town. It made it super convenient for us to take walks, explore the local shops, try out restaurants, and participate in activities happening in Nungwi. The peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, combined with its perfect location, really gave us the best of both relaxation and adventure. The rooms were clean, the surroundings were beautiful, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

Nothing everything was perfect

The facilities are clean, and very beautiful. We loved the breakfast options because it allowed us to try different variations of foods. The staff was really nice and accommodating to all our requests. The location is very accessible to a lot of activities in the area, which we loved aa we could easily walk around to see the local culture. Overall we loved our stay here and would highly recommend if you’re spending a few days up North in Nungwi, but also try to see other parts of the Island as they all offer different variety of activities.

Very cool stylish hotel. Rooms were cleaned and tidied every morning. Staff nice and friendly. Would be nice to have more sunbeds maybe as some of the a little broke. Also cushions as in the picture would make the hotel look better. Breakfast different every morning as per daily list. I had massage twice which was very good. There is also a gym but I didn’t use it. Very close to the main beach area and all the bars and restaurants.

Beautiful area just need to work on small details, as mentioned cushions, cut dried flower leaves, fix sunbeds, beach towels could be better.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and all rooms are looking out onto the pool area. The breakfast/lunch was delicious with plenty of options, and the hotel’s location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and local shops. I also enjoyed the pool area, which were great for relaxing as it is very quiet due to it being a smaller hotel. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This is my second time in Africa and my experiences were great again.The owner of the hotel arranged all the tours for us. We had great island tours. We swam with dolphins. We visited turtles on prison island. We went to monkey forests. But what impressed me the most was the one-day safari tour. It was a perfect holiday for us. I will send my parents to this hotel next year!!

It was 3-4 minutes walking distance to the beach, but more importantly, it was so close to the most famous beach. The food we ate at their restaurant was very enjoyable, I recommend it. They had tables in the middle of the pool, it was a nice experience to play backgammon with my friend there. I thank the whole team, see you again in the future 👋🏼👋🏼🏖️

Staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Especially Musa, he is very good and informative.

The place needs mini bar fridges in each room since zanzibar is very hot. It would be nice to keep refreshment in the fridge.

I like the simplistic room designs, the service, and the location. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the center, market and restaurants. It is also about 5 minutes drive to Kendwa and Nungwi beaches. The staff were very helpful whenever I needed something even when it was late night. Good price point as well.

The hotel has a lovely design, every corner is very instagramable (hence during our stay girls were having a half day photo shot 😊). The size of the room and the bed is good. Bed is comfy, location is 5 min walk from the beach.

The place starts to be a bit run out, mold starts to form, you can feel the smell especially in the dinning area. There is a construction site right in front (Canary hotel) that looks like a big expansion of the hotel so this year seams to be like that. Breakfast options are pretty limited, you get a fixed daily menu, the food is average, not very tasty. They have some improvements to make when it comes to customer service (it seams to also be a cultural trait). Sometimes they look strange (upset) at you, roll their eyes when you ask something.

The location was great, tranquil even though there is some construction next door. Pool and dining area….super cute, very instagrammable…is that a word?!? Okay now it is😅 Baraka, Jennifer and Jackson were extremely friendly and helpful, welcoming and accommodating as well. Breakfast menu is different per day, filling, tummy and served with fruits, coffee and tea. The room was quite spacious and tastefully decorated…LOVE LOVE LOVE! Definitely coming back when I have more leave days…And money to fly in haha
