-Neighbors next door property have loud party most nights and then very early morning notice . Also next to sports field so lots of noise from sports -Breakfast small and basic -WiFi did not reach bedroom

I had an amazing stay at this hostel, especially as it was my first time staying in one! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with special shoutouts to Adrian, Safe (the Masai guy working the evenings), and the cleaning and cooking ladies. They all went out of their way to ensure I had a memorable experience. Every morning, the cleaning ladies made sure to tidy up the room and bathrooms, which was a nice touch. Even though it was low season, the hostel still had a great vibe with plenty of people to meet. The breakfast was excellent, and I appreciated how they worked on a 3-day rotating menu and I stayed there for 7nights. As someone with a pepper allergy, it was amazing that they not only remembered but also went out of their way to accommodate me. The location of the hostel is perfect—close to a bank, a snack shop, and within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. I particularly loved the beds, which came with mosquito nets and privacy curtains for the lower bunks. Most of the beds also had charging plugs, which was very convenient. They provided fans to keep the room cool, and once it filled up, they turned on the AC in the evenings. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

There was only really 2 things, however they where closing down for some renovations and I did mention it to the Manager. 1.The mattresses wasn't so comfortable but it was manageable 2. When going to the bathroom for a shower there wasn't anywhere to put your things down except for the floor.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The staff is super helpful and reliable; they cleaned our room every day. Nothing was missing, but make sure to book a room with AC—otherwise, it’s hard to stay here. All rooms had mosquito nets, and they have security guards on duty 24/7. The breakfast was good and included pancakes, eggs, cucumber, tomato, a slice of bread, two different fruits, juice, and coffee/tea. Extra plus for the kindness of the staff, who do their best to make sure you have a great stay. They even went to the pharmacy to buy headache tablets for us. The downside was that no small bottle of water was provided, which is important since not everyone can drink tap water. Also, there was no meat such as turkey or ham, cheese, or sausages available for breakfast, even for guests staying for a longer period. However, everything could be arranged for an extra fee upon request.

The location was great, 5 mins walk to 2 entrances to Nungwi beach, 24 hour security, so I did feel safe, the housekeeping staff and the male staff who did security were fantastic, very friendly and made me feel welcome, the laundry area at the rear of the property was a life saver when you just wanted to wash a couple of items daily and hang them to dry, the housekeeping staff even located one of my tops when another guest took it by mistake, the breakfast is brilliant with a good choice of eggs, cooked how you want, different fruits, breads & juices every day, the room was cleaned every day, as was the communal bathroom, the pool area and garden is relaxing and looks lovely lit up at night, also major plus point - this is the only place I got a decent cup of coffee in a 3 week stay in Nungwi ! 👍😊

I liked everything but there are a couple of suggestions - would have been nice to have a sun lounger by the pool as well as the chairs that were there and a small outside washing line would be useful

Very Tranquil hostel with lovely staff who make you feel at home, nice free breakfast and it’s actually nice to lounge around there because there is nice seating areas and a lot of greenery. The beach, bars & restaurants are just a short walk away. I took a private room and it was kind of isolated at the back which meant I could have a nice peaceful sleep.

Relaxing hostel. Very cute and relaxing atmosphere. I was there with a friend and it was a very pleasant stay. Everything was very clean and the manager and her local staff was more than sweet. A lot of greenery and places to relax in the garden. The pool is not really for swimming but definitely enough to cool yourself down during a hot day. It’s mostly shade in greens as well which made it pleasant during the hot hours to just chill in the garden. The breakfast was super for being a budget hostel. The value for money is seriously great. Huge lockers for the dormitory, AC, fan, curtains for the bed, mosquito net. We are definitely recommending Sarah’s hostel Greens. She’s done an amazing job and she deserves big credit to be able to create such an amazing atmosphere and energy in the place. It’s truly a place of love and happiness. Sarah and your team, we wish you all the best and we will definitely come back!

I didn't expect the breakfast to be good given how cheap the place was but it turned out to be good, I was served with a plate of fruits, bread, eggs cooked in my style of choice, juice, a little salad. The staff was also very helpful to help me arrange for tours and transport. The room was decent with aircon and hot shower!

The walk in from the main road is quite far and the ground is definitely not suitable for luggages, would be difficult to carry it in unless you have transportation all the way in.

1. The location is in a touristic area close to everything and especially to the beach 2. The house is surrounded by trees, which makes the place very cool even when it's too hot outside 3. The place was clean and beds comfortable enough 4. There is a small swimming pool good for relaxing when you don't need to go outside

1. The breakfast could be made better. Maybe add some fresh juice or fruits as these are quite cheap around. (I had to buy some to add to our breakfast). Sadly still, we missed breakfast one day for allegedly waking up late 2. It is not possible to meet many people as at the time there were not many bookings 3. We were not provided with a bathing soap (luckily, we had carried our own)

Absolutely everything.. everyone is so warm and welcoming.. Sarah and her staff are like family, they couldn’t do enough for you- I spent 18 days there and I definitely did not want to leave Greens. Definitely rebooking without a doubt. My experience could not have been made any better- so much to love about the true Nungwi Zanzibar experience staying at Greens. So safe and secure too. Sarah is top tier host, her staff are amazing too.. 😍

It’s a hidden gem in the heart of nungwi. Location is super! The garden is fantastic. Breakfast big enough according to the price I pay for the stay. It’s kept clean, the atmosphere is lovely. A possibility to meet people. Sarah is amazing, super attentive and kind, she makes you feel like home. I wouldn’t lie when I say that Sarah is a true inspiration for women. This is not my first time in greens and every time I come to nungwi greens will be my option.

Still no lockers inside the dorm, but sarah can keep your valuables in her safety box. I know she is working on the lockers.
