We chose this location for its amazing covered terrace that is literally sitting in the water. So from the terrace one feels "in the water" looking out at this amazing blue colors of the water. My sons had to work during out stay so it was the perfect office, quiet area to hang. The pool was very popular with other guests but is not facing the water. The other great think is its amazing location in Nungwi. You are on the water and right near the restaurants and walking streets but not "in" the noisy part. You hear it but are not surrounded by it. If budget allows, I would recommend the rooms with water views... I'd do this next time. The breakfasts are good and home made. We had multiple meals there and enjoyed Rasta's cooking (the chef and owner) who had us laughing many times. Quite a character!

The furniture in rooms are minimum... no chairs to put things nor table so hard to put things out when using space. Just bed, side tables and shelves.

I loved how close we were to the beach, and that I could sit in the dining room and have an ocean view. I also loved how the bungalows were in a walled compound that was quiet and away from the busy streets. The landscaping is nice and we loved seeing the Dik-Diks and birds. The location is great, close to everything! We only ate breakfast there, but that was really good and a great value because it’s included. The staff was so friendly and helpful too.

The rooms are really basic and not decorative, but that’s ok. It would have been nice to have a dresser or table next to both beds to put things on.

At first, we were put in a garden-view room. We had asked for a twin room and we were put in a double so we asked to move and we were moved. However, there was no water in that room. The staff did all they could to help and eventually they offered to upgrade us free of charge to a spectacular room right on the sea front. The staff were lovely and couldn't have done more to help. I would recommend that you book a seafront room, not a garden-view one. The difference was stark. The original room was small and quite dark. The room we were moved to was huge. Both rooms were beautifully furnished. I particularly loved the wooden beds. It was also very clean. The location was absolutely stunning. The patio windows opened directly onto a terrace, overlooking the sea, one of the most breathtaking views you will ever see. The seafront restaurant is also stunning and the breakfast was lovely: fresh fruit, a choice of eggs and pancakes.

The garden rooms are quite small but other than that, nothing.

Very nice facility located right on the coast and with a beautiful view. Bungalows and a swimming pool are located in the garden area. The friendly staff was always on hand to help and assist. The facility offers a full meal service in its own restaurant, with a rich menu and delicious food. The large pool in the garden area is clean and tidy. The hotel has direct access to the beach, which is influenced by the tides. Beautiful sunsets with dinner on the terrace. It is interesting to walk around the town in the evening and see the small tourist shops. Be sure to bargain.

As in any major tourist destination, you should be wary of bad guys. But that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

It was amazing. I had a sea view room and enjoyed the sunset from there every night. It is an accommodation where you can stay all day. You can walk down the stairs barefoot and go for a swim in the warm ocean. The sea is literally in front of the accommodation. If it gets too warm, you can enjoy the calm huge pool in the garden, where there lives a small super cute monkey and a dozen mini antelopes (Dik Dik). It was like a dream for me. The restaurant at the accommodation is open all day long and serves fantastic food. The personnel was exceptionally nice and friendly, very professional and welcoming. The location is also very good, everything like ATM, market, restaurants are super close, and as said the beach is at the doorstep. For me, it can't get any better and I would definitely come back. - Location: Langi Langi is a great hotel directly located at a beautiful beach, probably in the most beautiful part of Nungwi. In high tide, you can directly get to the beautiful water. The center of Nungwi is a 5 Min. walk away, other restaurants located at the beach are also nearby. The place is calm and perfect to relax but also near to the busy places around. - Room with seaview: We got a roomupgrade to a room with seaview (room Kidude) which was absolutley incredible, the room was clean, had an AC, a vent and a fridge. We had Wifi most of the time. The sunstes viewed from our balcony were absolutly stunning! - Restaurant: At this beach location it seemed to be the only restaurant to also offering local food, besides to „western“ specialities. The food was delicious and fresh! We tried a lot of other restaurants and Langi Langi was our favorite, although some meals were sometimes not available. The breakfast is à la carte with a good variability of dishes. We also enjoyed the seaview from the terrasse. - Staff: All staff members are very kind and attentive. The transfer form the airport was organised by the hotel manager and went with no problems, although we arrived at 03:00 a.m and left at 01:30 am. The manager is always around and willing to help with any kind of questions. The restaurant staffmemebers are very kind people.

- The music playlist: the music played at daytime from the restaurant consisted mainly of european „hits“, we would have prefered more local or other african music/artists. Sometimes there was a reggae playlist, which was way better than Coldplay :)

Closeness to those crystal clear, beautiful ocean waves! Access down the stairs off the balcony for a swim, and straight back up the stairs to breakfast or dinner (with a quick shower on the way!) The Ultimate Beach Stay!

Food and Drinks Service is a little awkward and chaotic. Some long waits and confusion. But there are nearby options for meals. And, other than that, the rooms are great, and staff were VERY helpful and friendly.

The Langi Langi is a charming and typical hotel. You feel like you are stepping in a pirate boat almost. The room views are breathtaking and the terrase of the hotel is litterally on the water. The staff is adorable and the room are nice! I have been in many hotel is Zanzibar and this one has its own vibe!

The only think i would say is that the mattresse and pillow are a little hard, but that's my personal liking, my sister enjoyed them!

Great location. Right on the water. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant offered a nice menu.

Our room was on the ground floor so a little lack of privacy. You can choose a room on higher floors but you have to climb stairs.

the location is good, not too big not too small, the room was beautiful, the view was 10/10. pay more for the tumbatu room, it’s the best just beware that there’s no actual beach beach at the hotel at high tide: there’s like a deck you get into the water from, but it’s nice since you have much more privacy and no trespassers are allowed. low tide is okay, do not stay anywhere that’s more towards the north than Langi Langi - the water goes way far back and it smells. Langi Langi was perfect even at low tide although we never swam during it. - never got to swim in the pool, but the dwarf deers were cool

- I guess the bathrooms could be renovated but they were clean and the cleaning crew came in everyday and they were nice - the WiFi could be improved - I’m not sure if it’s still a problem but when we stayed there the horse tours were taking place right by the hotel.
