The hosts, the staff, and the location are great. As well as the room was very clean and tidy. Additionally, to chill out during the evenings and meet different travelers having a drink is a really good spot.

Nothing related to accomodation, accomodation was great.

I basically needed a "home base" in Zanzibar, where to safely store my work computer, my passport, my suitcase, my extra clothes and cash during my stay. I travelled all around the island with just a little day-bag with one set of spare clothes and bikini, spending occasional nights in different hotels in different villages and beach areas, so Avocado was a good safe place to keep my laptop etc, and it was always good to come back to Avocado after my adventures to different areas and mainland. It was modest, safe, spacious. Wifi was alright for working (but not for Zoom video, only voice), emails and social media, and the wifi signal reached my room pretty well.

No glass windows, so all the parties from the outside are literally in your room music-wise :) But I kind of knew it would happen, so no big deal.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The accomodation is very clean with comfortable rooms and at a short walking distance from Nungwi beach. The breakfast was the best we've had on Zanzibar.

this was our best hotel in terms of price and quality !! we traveled around Zanzibar for exactly a month and the Avocado Guest House was the last hotel on our trip and I will seriously tell you that the hotel is worthy of the highest rating. Fresh linen, air conditioning, comfortable bed, hot water, super tasty breakfast and all this is 5 minutes from the beautiful beach. A complete set for you to relax perfectly. And they also have very fast internet, we work remotely and this is important for us. I also want to say that their chef deserves a separate huge thank you for his skill, be sure to order octopus, pasta in white sauce with seafood, burger and chicken salad at their restaurant

The whole accommodation area is very cozy and safe (guarded 24/7). The room was spacious and clean with every day cleaning service if desired. Delicious breakfast were included during our stay. Additionally there is an option to order various meals for a fair price. The owners and the staff were all very kind, helpful and arranged everything we needed. They gave us good tips for trips, provided us with needed equipments and even prepared very early breakfast for us when we had to leave early in the morning.

The food was very good and the menu for dinner and lunch was a good selection. The staff are very nice and the room was a good size aswell as having the option to use air conditioning or a fan.

Sometimes had a hard time figuring out the hot water but for the most part the shower was warm. The bathroom did not have a door so be aware of that when booking. The location was abit hard for us to find but once we found the location it was very easy to remember where it was and how to get to it.

Very calm and comfortable hotel 5 minutes from the best beach in Zanzibar. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable mattress and pillows. There is an air conditioner and a good water pressure. An excellent hearty breakfast with a variety of fruits. There is a restaurant on the territory, where we dined inexpensively and very tasty. Friendly staff and hosts. We lived in three different hotels in Zanzibar and this hotel is definitely our favorite.

Big rooms, clean and comfortable facilities, very good breakfast. The garden is a good place to relax away from the busy centre of Nungwi. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Location is close to the beach but can be difficult to walk back at night because of a small section of unlit road. You can just take a taxi though!

Lovely hotel, with very friendly and accommodating owners. Good location and a good breakfast. Good value for your money!

Great house very clean, professional staff and friendly 👍🏾 good food and breakfast, internet... nice ambiance I felt like home. I truly recommend. I'll be back 😉
