The staff were engaging and accommodating "the whole 9 yards". The value we received for the rate they charged was unmatched compared to other options. If we were traveling with family, the security precautions would be reassuring.

The breakfast could have been better, specifically the waffles. Please do not serve meat with vegetarian options. The breakfast was the only minor downside of the entire experience.

For our first trip to the USA we chose this hotel to explore Houston and its surroundings for 2 weeks. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of everyone, especially the hotel staff. Contrary to some of the reviews I've read, the security guards are incredibly friendly. They know how to do their job while being human and even funny at times ! The hotel is clean, the pool is perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather in Houston, and the bartenders are awesome. The cleaning ladies do a fantastic job. Thanks to them. We regularly eat at the hotel restaurant, which is really very good. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Houston. Affordable yet clean & luxurious. Although I’m not a poker player, guests who just had rooms had the essentials.

Didn’t operate as a full hotel with some services you’d find elsewhere. Laundry services aren’t expected everywhere, especially 3-star hotels, but when I saw a laundry form and bag in the closet and needed clothes taken care of before a meeting I had the next morning, I was disappointed to hear they didn’t offer such service. I wish they did room service, and the restaurant they had was more accessible. I might not have listened as well as I should’ve but room service was never communicated to me.

The decor is very much mature and masculine but definitely a vibe. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I was thrown off by the security guard and the metal detector but I understand why they have it. That wasn’t a problem. The room was very much what I like. I had a minor hiccup with the a/c but maintenance came and fixed it immediately and I had no other problems. I would definitely stay here again. The location is great. I found so many restaurants and things to do in that area. I’m glad I found a gem.

The Champions Club and Hotel is our new go to hotel in Houston. It’s clean, comfortable, and close to everything without being right where all the noise is. The staff made us feel welcome every day of our stay, saying hello and wishing us a great day every time we passed the front desk. More importantly, though, they were helpful and informative whenever we had any questions or concerns. We will most certainly be coming back every time we visit Houston.

The bar soap provided to wash our hands is quite drying, but the lotion that is also provided does help counteract that.

This hotel is for you true poker players. The food is good and reasonable priced. This is truly am adult hotel. Security present at all times. Vehicles are safe. Rooms are nice and clean with a refrigerator. No microwave. Staff friendly and willing to assist without the attitude. Positive experience and will go back.

I wish it was a microwave in the rooms. A window leaked when it poured down raining. No exhaust in the bathroom.

Very clean and safe

I think there should be better management to ensure parking is available for hotel guests. I noticed that at times the attendants seemed distracted, which allowed poker guests to slip into spaces reserved for hotel guests. I would definitely return, but I’d like to see this handled more effectively.

Very appealing look inside and out. Very comfortable bed. Staff was always friendly. I felt safe with around the clock security. I like that it is close to the highway so it was easy to get to all my destinations.

The walls were a little thin, but I only noticed because I was alone and quiet. Shower did not regulate water temperature well (got progressively hotter).

clean, they texted me asking if I had any concerns or needed anything. I texted and told them I needed my room cleaned and they sent someone immediately. they also texted me the wifi code as well. we had car trouble and they let us stay a lil late after check out time. i definitely give 10 stars. one of the best rooms I ever stayed in.

Modern and clean rooms. Very well trained and friendly staff. Noise insulation in the rooms is very good.

Safety check to enter the hotel having only one entry/exit (except for alarm secured fire doors) is a bit of a discomfort. Parking lot can get crowded during poker events, requiring to park on the meadow. No microwave and no water kettle on the room.
