Location was fantastic, easy 10 min walk back into main area of Vieux Port but meant during the olympic football we were in a quieter area. Very easy to walk the other way to the beach and bus went from road outside into the town and along the coast. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Definitely needed aircon in France this summer. Reception staff spoke good English and were the most helpful and friendliest on our trip Pool was lovely, loungers and towels provided. Decent selection for breakfast. Very accommodating over keeping our luggage after check out until we left for the airport

The pool was open for 12 hours - depends who you spoke to if from 0800 or 0900. Logistically if it was possible to swim a bit earlier or later would have been even better. Pastries never as good from hotels as the local boulangerie / patisserie so you might want to skip breakfast and go to one of the local cafes.

Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. Stayed in room with huge balcony looking out on back by the fort. Refrigerator was helpful for storing beverages to enjoy on balcony. Cool artwork throughout. Moderate sized pool for my daughter to enjoy. Good sized bathrooms. Bus stop around block 2 mins walk. Probably closer to 15 min walk to Vieux Port. Very close to beach for beautiful sunset.

Room was smaller than expected. Couldn't open closet door to use full length mirror. Not enough room to store two rollerboard suitcases easily. Had to use chair for one bag.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Good decor. It’s a nice walk by the port to get into the city centre centre and there’s a bus stop right outside.

If you have a room at the front it’s a very busy, noisy main road, it’s fine if you’re used to that - but rooms at the back are much quieter. We had to change rooms due to a very noisy air duct in the first room which woke us at 6am! Staff v helpful about changing rooms.

The room was a good size and the housekeeping was excellent. Very good geographical position. Good breakfast with fresh fruit.

After paying the price for the stay, I received an email stating that a deposit of €150 per night would also be required which in my personal opinion is a lot if staying a few nights.

Our room (best category) was very nicely decorated, had a big balcony and a good view. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom very good. I loved the L'Occitane shower gel etc. especially. The breakfast is great (apart from the tea facilities, see below), and the staff are helpful and polite. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which is great. The location is good for the old town, and the beach is only 5 minutes walk away.

It is a noisy area, and despite the fact that "sound proofing" is indicated in the description, there was a lot of traffic noise through the closed balcony doors, but also quite a bit of noise from inside the hotel - the doors are of the kind that you cannot avoid banging when you want to close them, and with loud neighbors, you are not getting a good night's sleep. Also, in almost every other hotel I have been to, there are no hooks to hang things up on. There is a pool but where do you put your wet things? A clothes rack and some hooks on the doors would have helped. Also, no reading lights next to the beds. The various lamps are very tasteful but not particularly functional if you want to read.

We were upgraded to a lovely room without requesting an upgrade. The patio/pool area was very nice. The breakfast, which was included, was very good, as was the food which could be purchased during the day.

There was no good place to park the car to unload our luggage--had to double park on the street, and it wasn't clear until I went into the hotel and asked, where we could park the car to unload.

Good location for beach and supermarket, cafes. Port felt further away than I thought it would because you had to walk up hill at end of the day. Hotel is really cool, great art, set up in a nice stylish way, pool deck nice, and restaurant had great food too

Small comment, the room had no soap until last day, only shampoo to wash hands etc. Room cleaning was weird times too ..they walked into our room one day at 9.30am when getting dressed and at 3pm another day when we thought they'd be finished.

The staff were friendly and helpful - they gave some suggestions of nice places to eat and drink and the areas to avoid. The pool area is really nice. The breakfast was lovely with a generous selection. Cool quirky decor throughout. It’s in a nice area close to the beach and the port and there’s bike and scooter hire close by.

The pool is lovely. Sun loungers are very comfortable. Towels were provided at the pool. L'Occitane products were supplied in the room, shampoo, shower gel, soap and moisturiser. Bed was super comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful and check out time was great. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel after we checked out. Food in restaurant was very tasty.

Great location within easy walk of the vieux port and easy taxi ride from either the airport or train station. Reception staff were great and managed to get us a taxi on day of departure back to the train station when there was a huge problem with taxi availability that day.

Nothing really but if I had to think of something… Breakfast was very good but it would have been nice to have a slightly better tea and egg selection. The pool was unfortunately too cold for me to be able to enjoy it when we visited
