The suite we stayed in was spotless with daily cleaning service. It had all the finer amenities including fully equipped kirchen with dishwasher, cothes washer and dryer, rain and hand held shower heads, safe, robe with slippers, very comfortable bed, etc. Safe card entry to building. Easy walk to port on traffic restricted streets. I would recommend the suites, especially for a longer stay.

We didn't know the suites were in a separate building from the hotel. It ended up to be much quieter than being at the busy port. Glad we used our suite kitchen to make breakfast. We also had to use our own phone to call the desk, who were very responsive.

The hotel was perfectly situated and they were most helpful, even before I arrived. Explaining the best ways to arrive. To keep the cost down I was able to catch the airport bus and the metro to within a few hundred yards from the hotel. They made me feel very welcome. Room was spotless and very comfortable Breakfasts were delicious Delicious ice cream.parlour very close by And even better got to see the latest Banksy

Maybe I could have asked for a room with a view...... especially with me being there all week. Most people who stayed were on very short breaks, so it would have been nice to look out over the harbour

The room itself was very comfortable with three large windows and a comfy bed. The TV allowed us to cast our phone to watch our streaming services. The shower was great. It had a great view of the harbor and is walking distance to several great restaurants and attractions. There is also a metro stop super close by and it was about a 20 minute walk to/from the Saint-Charles train station. I was worried about the noise level because it's such a busy area, but the windows almost completely blocked the outside noise. The front desk staff members were also super helpful and kind. The hotel has a website where you can order drinks/wine online and it was always brought to our room pretty quickly.

The room didn't have a mini fridge, but we were easily able to get an ice bucket from the front desk.

Fantastic breakfast. Just right at the corner of the old port, you can take a walk right after breakfast and see people selling fresh seafood. The parking garage that the hotel recommended is clean and safe.

There’s no loading space in front of the hotel. So we have to park our car first and then carry the luggage from the parking garage to the hotel. It’s not easy in a rainy night. The double-glazed windows have condensation trapped between the panes, which cannot be wiped away. This affects the clarity of the view. While opening the window allows for the view, it also makes the room quite cold during the winter.

Staff were excellent. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds, and the sofa bed was large and extremely comfortable, too. Quiet but convenient location. Nicely decorated. It was great to be able to leave the bags at the hotel reception even though check-in at the apartment wasn’t possible.

The toilet was at one end of the apartment without a sink (even though there was space for one) and the shower the other. The washing machine was broken when we were there (we didn’t need it, so wasn’t a problem). It would have been nice to have had a bottle of water in the fridge for guests when they arrive.

We stayed in one of Maison’s sixteen suites in a building about two blocks from the hotel. We were on the fifth floor, with a wonderful balcony overlooking Rue Francis Davso. The suite was quiet, clean, and very well equipped, with fridge, stove, dishwasher, and washing machine. Location couldn’t have been better, about two blocks from the Vieux Port and one block from the Opera. Although we weren’t in the hotel proper, the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

The staff were absolutely lovely throughout our brief stay, the room was spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed. The location by the Vieux Port was ideal for wandering the area. The bed was comfortable - firm which we like. This was the second hotel we stayed in Marseille, and it was by far the best.

While the location by the Vieux Port was fabulous, there is a lot of street noise which couldn't be entirely cut out by the double glazed windows - but this was not the hotel's fault and typical if you stay in that location! This is only a small niggle - purely by preference we prefer rectangular pillows to square ones. While they did provide both square and rectangular, the rectangular pillow was pretty small and thin.

Location and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We upgraded the room and it was adapted for wheelchair use. Had a large bathroom with all support aids and spacious room. We didn't need these facilities but perhaps useful for others to know. Beautiful decor and ambience. Free water was available from reception. Room had a kettle and Nespresso machine.

Hotels rooms in general need an optional ceiling light. The room lighting was lovely but too dark to be practical. There's no frigo bar so you can't keep anything cool. Also, access to the room was through a little 'entry'. It gave access to two separate rooms. The door to this space was heavy and the small space meant that door was unnecessary and inconvenient. But these are not deal breakers and didn't affect the excellent opinion of the hotel. We'd definitely stay again as we loved it.

Location was great, steps from all the night life. We opened the room windows at night for fresh air and the city was very loud. When we closed the windows it was so quiet, the windows were awesome insulators of sound. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly! The breakfast they have available was awesome, it was very charming and sufficient. I have to say I really enjoyed the entire vibe of the hotel.

They did a great job in every aspect.

I've very much appreciated the location of the hotel, the size of the room and the cleaness. The staff was helpful most of the time. It was a little bit chilly in the room and even though I pointed this fact out and they said they solved the problem I was not able to manually set the room temperature. It remained around 19-20 degrees Celsius - quite uncomfortable for me, also because of my cold. Anyway, I recommend this hotel despite all these little issues that I'm sure can be easily fixed.

I had a problem with the unblocking of the 200Euro deposit they obliged me to make upon my arrival, It lasted for two weeks and I had to insist and ask for the proof of the unlocking and call twice and also write a message to the hotel... It shoud have been instantaneus, the same day we left the hotel.
