The location cannot be beat, the staff are friendly and very accommodating and speak multiple languages, the Cafe Caravelle is utterly charming with delicious food and view of the Vieux-Port, our room also had a fabulous view of the old port. The bathroom has been totally updated.

It’s a hotel in the center of town, so it’s not really fair to complain about a small room, but it was small. The bed headboard was improvised and my lamp switch was behind it. However it was well appointed. When I asked about a wobbly chair, it was fixed immediately.

The location couldn't be have been better! The hotel is set amongst restaurants, 5 mins from the Metro, directly beside the ticketing locale for the Hop on-off bus and tourist 'Le Petite' train, and opposite a range of water tours. We could walk to many interesting landmarks and touristy destinations. We were fortunate enough to be given an upgrade to a larger room with some of the best views of Vieux Port (thank you). The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was filling.

The walls/floors were thin, but not a big problem. Most staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Sebastien, but a couple were surly and sullen.

This was the best hotel in our 2 week tour of the South of France. The location was perfect and, considering the reasonable nightly rate, the view over the Vieux Port was awesome. The hotel is friendly, warm and authentic. The staff were absolutely exceptional. Our breakfast was the best I've ever had....served to our table on the balcony. It may not be a 5* hotel but it is a gem. I wasn't feeling well on the day of our arrival and they generously let us check in earlier, with no charge. Letting us leave our luggage on the day of our departure to allow us to sightsee more easily was just kindness and great customer service. We will be back! From the Scots. 🫶

The belle vue is set on the nicest part of the old port, s huge choice of restaurants immediately available and the best city sights all just a step away

The old port isn't a quiet place. The front rooms can be noisy if you lewere loveky. .ave your window open. All double glazed though so OK if you close up. Breakfast is fab. Staff were lovely. And evening Tapas v good value - even better if taken on the balcony overlooking the old port

A super friendly hotel right on the Old Port - so pretty. I had booked a room with a side view of the port but was upgraded to a full Port view. The Marseilles skyline from the Old Port is just beautiful so this was really welcome. The staff could not have been nicer - every single person was just lovely and really jolly. We would definitely book again. The hotel also has a terrace bar with a big balcony that is really lively and fun, again overlooking the port which is what you want in Marseilles!

Nothing - it was lovely!

My room on the 4th floor had a fabulous view of the port- morning and evening! Central location with an easy walk to many areas of town, shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Everything was clean and fresh in the room. Staff at reception were very helpful. The reception is located on the first level up one flight of stairs. They will help you with your luggage-just ask. Otherwise there is an elevator up to to the other levels. The hotel has a nice restaurant. I enjoyed a wonderful meal of tapas and wine. I would return to this hotel!

I had an attic room on the 5th floor. It was surprisingly very comfortable with two small windows to the harbor. Breakfast was decent although not much protein. Staff works hard there and makes difference.

Blasting music noises from somewhere early in the evening, but it went away by the time I went to sleep. Facilities can be upgraded, but it was worth the money I paid.

We had three rooms for three nights for a family visit to my grandson who is in his fourth year at KEDGE business school. The location was excellent as my grandson has a flat in the centre of Marseille. We loved the views and the breakfasts were very good. We all loved the atmosphere in the bar in the evenings. Two of our rooms were a good size but one of the double rooms was very small - they all had the good view though! The rooms were all spotlessly clean and the staff were all pleasant and helpful, and spoke English!

The stairs up to the first floor reception for someone elderly like me! However the staff were helpful carrying bags and there was a lift from the reception to other floors. Very little hanging/storage space (none in the smallest room) which would have been more of a problem if we were staying longer

The name tells everything. It has the stunning view to the marina and old Port. The hotel had also a very popular restaurant or cafe. The room was not a spacious one but this is what you can not wait from the old building.

There is no lift from the ground floor, for my husband it was a problem this time, as he hurt his leg. In any other case I would not even notice and mention it.

We loved the location of this hotel by the port. Our room was on the side of the hotel and we still had a wonderful view. The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings and white linens. The bar and breakfast on the first floor were also excellent.

Our only complaint is that the AC didn’t cool the room adequately. While opening the windows helped, the resulting street noise below was very very loud.
