Location was very good and right in the heart of the shopping, Cafe and Port areas. The staff were excellent especially Theo. Breakfast was good and probably worth the money as opposed to local cafes etc. The room was comfortable and compact unfortunately the one down turn was the shower which was over the bath and whilst warm and relatively good pressure leaked all over the bathroom. The breakfast room was available to guests all day offering tea coffee and cold water and an area to sit, chat meet other guests and plan the future activities.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of Marseille! The location couldn't be better – just a 5-minute walk to the Old Port and near trams and metro station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. One of my favorite perks was the 24-hour access to free coffee, tea, and drinking water – such a thoughtful touch! The room was clean , with a very comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a day out. Overall, a fantastic place to stay

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Marseille, but there were a couple of downsides. The toilet was separate from the main bathroom and didn’t have a wash basin or water supply, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the room lighting was quite dim, making it challenging to read or work comfortably in the evening. Despite these points, the central location, friendly staff, and amenities like 24-hour coffee and tea service made it a pleasant stay overall.

Perfect location (15 mins on foot from the railway station, 5 minutes to the Port and 10/20minutes to everything+restaurants and café everywhere around) very kind and always available staff (both at the check in and check out and every moment of the day). Staff can speak all languages all at least they do all efforts to be clear and be helpful in all manners, starting from good communication and happy welcome. Excellent breakfast both sweet and savory: this was not included and I paid for it: I'm glad I did it! The bed was really comfy! Something really suprised me: there's an aerea (h24 for the guests) where you have the chance to have free water and coffee and, what's more, there's a boiler with coffe and tea in the room. These details have been really appreciated and I felt quite spoilt and cuddled like at home :) As I'd love to come back to Marseille, I'll certainly choose again this hotel and I'll recommend it to my friends, too.

I had read that many guests had found a little welcome present (soap) in their rooms so I got a bit disappointed I didn't find anything in my room (I was there to celebrate my 50 birthday on my own and it would have been cool to find a surprise, ahahah), but the atmosphere was so happy and familiar: that was the real present to me! So thank you and....till the next time! MERCI BEAUCOUP!

The stay at this hotel was wonderful. Located in the city center, with comfortable rooms, soundproofed both from the inside and from the outside. Excellent cleanliness and wonderful breakfast room, all really very welcoming. Speaking of breakfast, this offers a wide and delicious choice, all delicious and with attention to detail. But the real plus of the hotel is its staff: young guys, very helpful in dispensing advice and very kind. Their human value is what makes the Hotel Marsiho truly special and unique!! Highly recommended!!!

Our wonderful welcome was complete with a lovely note & gift on our bed. Location is great for the old port & it's not far from the station. We had the 'penthouse' & it was perfect, lovely sized room & bed, comfy & quiet. Loved the 1st floor amenities, being able to just sit & chill with a coffee after travelling for hours was heaven. Continental breakfast was just what we needed to start the day off. Felt very safe & secure. Special mention to Theo for being so wonderful & helpful. Would happily stay here again.

The property was in an excellent central location close to the metro and trams, as well as food and shopping. The room was clean, modern, comfortable and air conditioned. Good hot shower with great shower pressure. There was a lift that worked (rare find!). There was 24 hour access to coffee facilities with chilled still and sparkling water which we loved! Also the staff were super lovely and helpful, and we had a gift and hand written note on arrival. We were only staying for a night but would definitely stay again.

Our swipe card deactivated itself during our stay, which staff quickly rectified. Had a cute fooseball table but we couldn’t find the ball to play sadly. These were just tiny inconveniences, and otherwise no issues at all with our stay!

The staff were lovely. It was Valentine's night but that wasn't why were staying there. I found a little heart-shaped soap on our bed, which is sweet. But the nicest thing was the handwritten card welcoming me and my husband to the hotel. I was actually quite touched. I was lovely because it was handwritten and must have taken a good 10 minutes to write (it was quite long!). I thanked ?Theo? at Reception.

The breakfast was very good but unfortunately, when we arrived at 9.30 it was very busy and there were no spare plates, spoons or glasses. The juice had all gone. The lady serving was trying to replenish everything but couldn't keep up. Otherwise, it was a good breakfast and better than I expected.

Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, and the little common area is lovely, with free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and still or sparkling water. We enjoyed sitting in there when we weren't in our room or out and about in Marseille. The room and beds were comfortable too! The decor throughout is warm and bright. Breakfast is quite varied and nice. The location is really great - just a 5-minute walk from the bay area!

The shower leaks all over the floor, even when you're trying to be careful. It can be a bit noisy at times as it's in a busy area, even though the windows are double-glazed. Cleaning staff came knocking on our door on the last day to ask why we hadn't left yet, although it was not yet the official checkout time.

The pricing, I wanted to extend my stay by one day and I had to pay around 170 euros for one night. They said the price increase was because Bruce Springsteen was doing a concert in the city. If they could reduce the normal day stay by 10-20 Euros, this would be my only place to stay as I travel to Marseille often. Other than the pricing issues, everything is either 9 or 10 for me. Their hospitality is easy 100.
