Great Location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious modern bathroom, sound proof windows with central Air-condition. Excellent breakfast (fresh pastries/fruits and availability of orange juice machine to make your own freshly squeezed orange juice).

Everything. The bed comfort was better than my own expensive bed at home. Even a contour pillow if needed. Quiet at night, excellent, competent air conditioning, great hot water, excellent breakfast, very helpful, genuine staff. So clean and comfortable, not filled with tour groups, right in the middle of the Marseilles madness, a haven and oasis in the middle. Any other hotels will have to measure up!

Not a great big issue and I was told about it prior, also staff helped on arrival and departure but there are forty stairs to the reception. On both occasions, staff took my bags, zero effort from me.

The location was terrific. We opted for the slightly more expensive room with a view of the lively and lovely Vieux Port. There was plenty to do in the neighbourhood and it was easy to get to/from other parts of the city. All the staff members were friendly and professional. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and good value for money (bread/pastries/pancakes, muesli, cured meats and cheeses, eggs and fresh fruit).

Not sure if they were a bit overrun because we were in Marseille during the Rugby World Cup, but it sometimes took longer than expected for the cleaning team to reach our room. One day it was four in the afternoon when they reached us (we'd already been out for most of the day and came back to the hotel for a break). On the other hand, we didn't need fresh towels or a made bed, and the hotel donates to a local environmental cause each time a guest declines daily cleaning. So no big loss. :)

Perfect location, ideal base to explore Marseille. A room with a view of the Vieux Port is recommended - great to watch the world go by particularly late at night when nothing seems to stop. Room perfectly soundproofed so you can shut the door for peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

Clean room, everything was in a good condition, very welcoming and friendly staff

Air conditioning was not working and the window in the room was leading somehow to the inside of the building and as a result it was no fresh air at all and was extremely difficult to sleep

The view from our room was absolutely charming — overlooking the Old Port, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is excellent, central and scenic. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the music in the lobby created a modern, relaxed vibe that we really enjoyed.

While the hotel has a nice design, it feels more worn-out in person than it looks in the photos. There was also an occasional sewage smell, which faded after running the water, likely due to old plumbing in the area. Finally, while we were informed in advance about the steps leading to the elevator, travelers with large suitcases should know it’s not the most convenient setup. The staff helped us on arrival, but in hindsight, we probably would’ve chosen a different hotel.

Very good location of the facility! Everywhere close:) good quality WiFi, rooms not large but spacious and equipped with all the necessary items (there are even contoured pillows for better sleep). Przemysl and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Staff in places could not cope with the crowd during breakfast. There was something missing all the time, like not bread, but cold cuts/cheese. If there are too many people at one time, consider dividing the breakfast into time slots, maybe that will help. "The window to the courtyard" is unfortunately a window to the other wall of the building, through which a very limited amount of light enters.

This stay was a really good experience and it made our weekend stay very pleasant. So if you are going to Marseille and this hotel is within your budget, we highly recommend this hotel. We came in January when the price is really friendly. Anyway, the location could not be better, all the receptionists we met were very friendly and helpful. As it was low season we got a room upgrade so we could see the harbour at night lights from the 4th floor, fabulous! I really like the simple and modern design of the room and the spacious bathroom. The bed and duvet/pillows were comfortable. The room temperature control worked well. Large flat screen TV. And in the morning, such a great French breakfast was prepared. The dining room was small but we all fitted in and it was so different from the big restaurants, so nice. The choice of food was perfect - different types of bread, croissants, pancakes, cheese, goat cheese, ham, eggs, rösti, müsli, some fruit and vegetables...you can actually boil eggs for you at the little egg station and also press your fresh and we enjoyed these little activities.

Rooms are suitable for short stays, as there is not much room for large luggage or more clothes. However, the hotel may have a large room option or be able to help you in some way - ask. I would prefer to have better hangers. Just saying... Not sure if drip coffee was as an option in the morning. Coffee from the machine was not the best. But maybe it was there. These are just small things and I still rate the hotel 10/10.

The location is beautiful and perfectly placed with good connectivity. The Vieux Port metro and bus stops just in front of the hotel. Lots of good food options nearby. The ships to go to Calanques start from the port in front of the hotel. Very good view of the port from the room. The hotel provides a good breakfast option at a reasonable price. The staff are very good and they speak very good English.

I expected the room could be a little bigger but for 2 people it's alright. Sometimes you would hear footsteps from the upper floor if you are not staying at the top floor.

Location of the hotel could not be better you step out of the hotel directly on to the port. Friendly and helpful staff at check in. Air con is good and works well. Rain shower is lovely. Cute decor in hotel. Quiet inside, no noise can be heard from outside despite being situated on top of the port.

There’s a couple of flights of stairs to drag your luggage up to reception before a lift is available however the hotel clearly communicates this before you book. You just have to use your muscles! The bathroom had a musty strange smell that wasn’t too nice. Room was very small but again this is clear at booking stage. Towels are on the small side and we only had 2 flat pillows which is tricky when there are two of you and one sleeper usually has 3 or so pillows.
