Position is brilliant. Quiet despite being in city centre. Easy 20 minute walk from main train station with luggage. A few minutes walk to the Old Port. Clean and modern.

The steep spiral stone staircase!! We were on the 5th and top floor. No lift. This wouldn’t suit unfit or people with orthopaedic issues. We are 72 and managed with care. Be sure to read instructions re access before arriving. We hadn’t done that, and needed assistance from a young couple. We also helped another couple access their room later! Extra towels would have been helpful for a 4 night stay. After day 3 they could be changed on request. Only 1&1/2 towels per person.

The location is fantastic as you can easily reach the port, Le Panier and Notre Dame du Mont all within walking distance. The room was immaculate and equipped with a small kitchen area and bathroom full of amenities. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly despite being on a busy road thanks to the double glazing. If you don't mind climbing the stairs, I would recommend booking one of the top floor rooms which come with a quaint balcony to sit and take in the sights and sounds of the city. Also a very smooth check-in process facilitated by clear communication from the staff.

We stayed on the top floor with the wraparound terrace, and we loved it SO much! The apartment was really bright with big windows; the decor was lovely and tasteful; enough coffees and teas were left for us for our whole stay, which is simple but thoughtful. This area was also a wonderful location for Marseille, with tons of cute restaurants and shops, and an easy stroll to the Vieux Port.

It's true that 5 floors up is a lot of steps! But for us it was worth it for our terrace. The apartment has a small refrigerator and microwave, but it's not really meant for cooking. Fine for us, as we were happy to eat out for our meals, but just something to take into account.

The location is really good and quiet, with cafés/shops/buses/taxis/restaurants all within convenient walking distance. It's just round the corner from the Opéra, a good, safe area and only a short walk (10-20 mins) to the Vieux Port and museums. The room was very clean and well-prepared and small toiletries are supplied for the shower. There are also several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The cost is very reasonable out of season, which is when we had our two stays here.

It's difficult to know in advance which floor the room will be on. This time we were on the fourth, which was a bit hard as we are in our seventies. The stairs would be very tricky for anyone with limited mobility. Kitchen facilities are basic, so it's hard to prepare and eat food if you don't want to eat out all the time. If you are only staying a short time (3 days) the room, and more importantly the bathroom, isn't cleaned while you are there.

This place is amazing: central location, old port is about 5 minutes on foot, Saint Charles station about 15 minutes on foot. The apartment is spacious, clean, bed is comfortable, big shower, separate bathroom and toilet. Kitchen has basic utensils, but enough for a short stay, microwave, tea and coffee maker also available. The house is renovated, access is easy with a front door and room door code that we received well in advance. Instructions sent in email were clear (however it was in French, but google helped us :)). I definitely recommend this place, we had a great time.

Everything was great, if I need to mention something, the packing space in the bathroom is a bit limited, but there is a drawer below the sink, where you can put your stuff. 4 pm checkin is a little late, but we used the time to walk around the port.

I loved the Location of the Apartment, super central in a Beautiful street and Close to all Attractions and especially a Little Walk Away from the old Port! Comfortable Room, we Took the Room with a Terrasse and the sun shining every Morning on it was Dream like!

The only missing thing was a closet to put our luggage and belongings.. its a Small thing but our Stuffs were scattered around the Room.

I would like to say only good things about this hotel. The room was equipped with everything you might need, including items like a microwave, wine opener, plates, etc. There was even an iron with an ironing board, which for me is a big plus. The staff communicated in English and were very polite. We rented a room with a terrace, which was lovely. Yes, it’s on the 5th floor with no elevator, but I’d rather walk the stairs and have a terrace than stay on the lower floors. Location as well very central, very convenient. Only if you came with the car it can be difficult to find parking. We parked at the underground parking and paid 35e/24hours.

Great place with great, safe location (3 minutes walk from Port-Vieux). Apartment lovely decorated, small kitchen annex with coffee and tea. Easy check-in and check-out without any contact with staff. Comfortable bed and bathroom. You can't get any better for that price in city center :)

Few adjustments in the room could be done - fridge's and kitchen locker's doors were blocking each other; shower's door a little bit hard to open. Rooms are available only through staircase (no elevator) - for some that may be problem.

The location of this place is amazing!! The balcony overlooks a lively part of Marseille, and has a gorgeous view of the city rooftops. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out in the evening with some wine and cheese and enjoying the view and the vibes! The apartment was also extremely clean with very modern finishes, the bed was comfy, and the shower was great. This was one of our favourite places we stayed in during our time in France!

The only downside to this place is the climb up the stairs with luggage is not for the faint of heart. If you’re traveling light, it’s fine, but if you have lots of luggage, it’s not a fun time. Also - something small but I’ll mention it - there was no soap in the apartment, so we had to just shower with shampoo for our first night. A bit surprising from Marseille, the “soap capital of the world”.

Great location in the heart of the Vieux Port. Really lovely and clean with good sized rooms. Nice view of other traditional French buildings. Great kitchenette and facilities too.

Check in/check out times are very rigid (4pm check in, 11am check out) and as it’s self-service, there is nowhere to store your luggage if you arrive in the city before 4pm or depart after 11am. There’s lots of bag storage nearby but it can be quite expensive so good to consider before you book travel.
