Great location half way between the station and the old port. Quite hard to find on arrival - could you do more to signpost guests exactly to the hotel on arrival? Really positive and helpful staff. The small studio room I stayed in was fine in terms of facilities - good shower for example - and I really liked the kitchen which was really well-equipped and accessorised. No room service or towel change was fine with me (for a 4-night stay) as a solo traveller but not sure if others would agree. Only issue worth mentioning is a mild smell of drains on entering the room every time, and slightly broken wardrobe doors and toilet flush.

I had such a great experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. They even remembered the details of my requests and gave me helpful recommendations for sightseeing and grocery shopping — it made me feel very welcomed and taken care of! The room was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. I especially appreciated the espresso machine — such a pleasant and ideal touch. In the fridge, there was even cream for coffee, which shows great attention to detail. The kitchen area was very well stocked, with everything from cleaning supplies, dishwasher, pots and pans, to a toaster — perfect for longer stays. The bathroom had a towel warmer, which made mornings extra cozy. Overall, a warm and thoughtful place to stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel is centered located and has everything you need for a short stay - the shower is one of the highlights! 🙂 The staff is friendly and welcoming and do help you whatever the request. Maybe I would have liked it even more if they came to clean the room on a daily basis but apart from that we were very satisfied with our stay. Although the hotel is a 10 mins walk from the city center, the area is a bit dodgy but the whole of Marseille is a bit dangerous so it’s difficult to find an hotel where you find yourself very safe. We highly recommend to stay here as we enjoyed very much our stay and we would definitely go back again. Thank you Staycity!

A spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a sofa bed for our kid; its not easy to find reasonably priced options for a couple+kid in Marseille, this was very convenient. Very nice staff who provided very good recommendations for dinner

The location is at a short walk from the Vieux Port, however at night we thought there were some parts of the route that might be less crowded and we decided to take ubers on our way back home for safety (this might be our wrong perception though, being with a kid we’re usually extra cautious)

Our stay at Staycity Aparthotels Marseille Centre Vieux Port was enhanced by several positive aspects. We were delighted to have spacious rooms for our family, which felt like having half an apartment—a great setup for families with children. Our room was comfortable, with a bed that provided a restful sleep. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The hotel offers a convenient parking option nearby, and with a card from the hotel, guests can park at a reduced cost, which is a nice touch. Additionally, the laundry service provided by the hotel was very efficient and helpful.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The area surrounding the hotel can be quite noisy, which may disturb light sleepers or those seeking a more peaceful environment. Additionally, we didn't feel entirely safe in the neighborhood, which could be a concern for some guests. We also chose not to have breakfast at the hotel, as it appeared to be quite limited with little variety

I recently stayed at this property and had a fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot. The staff were very friendly and always ready to assist with any needs. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable and clean bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The shower was excellent. The kitchen was a standout feature—well-equipped with metal pots and all the essentials needed for cooking. I loved spending time on the lovely balcony, which offered a pleasant place to relax (not with the best view mind you). The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature as needed. I also appreciated the lack of carpeted floors, which added to the cleanliness and modern feel of the space. Additional facilities like the laundry room and gym were a great bonus, making my stay even more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its excellent amenities and outstanding service.

Afternoon a delayed train journey which brought us into a dark and scary part of Marseille, when we got to the hotel , just after midnight, we were met by a fantastic member of staff, most welcoming which helped greatly after the anxious 20 minute walk from the railway station. The room was perfect, very well equipped kitchenette, fridge, coffee machine, kettle etc etc. Comfy beds/ pillows, beautiful bathroom with large shower and lovely toiletries. Rooms not soundproofed ( from neighbouring rooms) but quiet from street noise. We didn't have breakfast but ample places to eat and drink nearby. First time in a Stay-City Apparthotel and will definitely try out others.

This Hotel and it's concept was fantastic. Probably won't visit Marseille again.

Location, walking distance from amenities and train station

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids, we booked 2 rooms as there was no option to accommodate us in one room. I have requested at the time of booking for our rooms to be in close proximity to each other. We were two floors apart. This seriously soured our experience as we didn't go all the way to Marseille to be separated. We had early nights because of the kids and we wanted to be able to spend the evenings together. We were told we couldn't have rooms closer. I don't believe it, how hard can it be to put a family in the rooms on the same floor. Pity, because everything else was perfect, location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean apartments.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, you just need to ask for anything you qould like to have and they will find the way to help you out. Our room was clear, large, and comfortable. Close to the city center, metro station, and also to the train station.

Although inside the building and room you feel safe and comfy the surrounding area is not the best (dirty, dark). Inside the room you can also hear a lot of the noise from outside the building.
