This is an old pub that’s been turned into a backpacker style shared accommodation. It’s decorated with fun and love. I loved it. It felt so relaxed and easygoing so if you are at all uptight don’t go but if you are looking for something different that’s cheap then book in now. The owner was fun and lovely and is very proud of his establishment. Fun bunk beds with a little light and privacy curtains is all you need. I felt like a kid on a sleepover with my very own little den/bunk. There are takeaways next door and a conveniently store so you won’t go hungry or thirsty.

After doing research and for a family of 5 this was one of the cheapest bookings with better reviews coming up as a over night stay ready for an early ferry in the morning, then the same later ferry in calais so stay over the night to drive home in the morning. This accommodation is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. Main door has a code lock, the family room has its own separate code lock aswell. The owner is very lovely. Took time to show you your room and facilities etc. we booked the family room which was the whole female dorm. Which consisted of 2 sets of bunk beds and a double bed Lovely and clean. How to describe room was my children said it looks and feels like their nanny's sleepover bedroom (which they love). Gave clean towels and a kettle in the room. When asked before booking did we have own bathroom. The answer is yes but it is opposite the dorm not in the dorm. But again was only for use for us. Lovely shower, clean toilets etc It is in the center of dover town 4 mins from dover port. Not far from shops, bars etc plently of takeaways.
My husband didn't like the fact it was a hostel and was very anxious because we had the children with us. But staying there on the way to our ferry and on the way back. He wasn't so anxious on they way back as we had a good experience on the way.

A rather ramshackle quirky place with a very friendly eccentric landlord. Dorm a bit cramped but it was comfortable and clean enough and the bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water for a shower. Decent pint in the pub downstairs. I was allowed to leave my bike in the pub as he was shutting up early. Good central location near shops and pubs and handy for the ferry terminal.
No power points in the dorm for charging phones, etc.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The accommodation is midst in Dover and easy to reach by foot. The beds are comfortable and and you can get free towels.
There is no breakfast being served. The accommodation is old, what also can be cozy, but it was not my taste. There are a lot of old mirrors and pictures throughout the accommodation.

Staying at Les Fleurs was a pleasant experience. The host provided towels, linens, ect, and the location is extremely accessible to the town centre, the castle, shops, the cliffs and the beach. It's not a 5 star hotel with all the bells and whistles, but for a short, cheap stay, it is adequate and the bathroom/dorms do the job!
The only downside I can think of is that there were no kitchen facilities, where you could store food/make drinks, so that's something to bear in mind if you're staying here.

Staying at Les Fleurs was like staying with your grandparents. The sweet old man who runs the place gave me many recommendations for places to go around the town and even offered to drive me to Dover Castle. I stayed in the female dorm and it was beautifully set up. Clearly someone put a lot of effort to make the room feel homey. There is also a female only bathroom with more room than I've seen in any other hostel.

Staff was amazing! Very comfortable and accommodating! Area was run down so not many shops/restaurants open so staff allowed us to bring our Chinese food into the pub to eat while watching the Queens memoir
Area was really run down … hardly any place to get dinner and no tourist area to shop.

Very warm welcome by the owner who gave me a tour of the property. The staircase leading up has some cool antiques and it gave it a very homely feeling to it. The room itself is quite a squeeze, however the comfort makes up for it - it is easily the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! I have never slept so beautifully, not even at home. This was the very definition of value for money!

A no frills hostel stay. I enjoyed the female dorms and the showers, and no one else was there the majority of my stay so it was like a hotel room. It was easy to walk to the main stretch and maybe 50 min to the white cliffs. Also, they let me keep my baggage there while I took a day trip to Canterbury, thank you for the stay!
The locks could be fickle, but it was nice not carrying a key.

This a quirky neat and tidy accommodation and I would highly recommend it. I have used le fleurs many times and have never been let down . The beds are so comfortable offering privacy and warmth ( in this weather ) The host is a great guy who makes you very welcome and comfortable.
Whats not to like? Gender specific toilets and showers or mixed if you prefer. Its close to the Port of Dover so its handy if you need to catch a ferry or stay in after the ferry while you plan your next destination in the UK. Its walking distance from the town centre and both bus and train station.
