The location on the river is beautiful, definitely one of the best in Noosa Heads. It's a walk from town but there are buses or river taxi, which picks up near Culgoa and drops at the end of the main street near the beach. There are only a few places to eat close to Culgoa (a restaurant/coffee shop with mini supermarket and shop selling alcohol). However Noosaville is only a short drive over the bridge (if you want something with a view and don't mind paying a slight premium). There obviously plenty of places in Noosa Heads main street to suit all pockets/tastes. The rooms in Culgoa are large and well kitted out and the parking is covered/secure, with the advantage of being close to the individual apartments. There is a pool mostly taken up by families with young children and a small beach and garden next to the river with tables and chairs and sun loungers. The front of house staff here are tremendous. Very friendly and helpful on arrival with lots of good advice both verbal and written. We had a comfortable stay.

There was nothing we didn't like but if you book (like us) on a third-party website make sure you select an apartment that has been renovated/upgraded. We initially found ourselves in one that hadn't been renovated and it was quite tired looking. Our apartment only had aircon in the main lounge, with just a fan in the bedroom which made for some warm nights plus no extractor in the bathroom again made it uncomfortable at times. All minor points and just our personal opinion.

Stunning property, the apartment was so so gorgeous. We had a bottom floor overlooking the river and it was so nice to sit out there. The apartment is so new and nicely built, the facilities including the pool are spotless and very tasteful. A wonderful place to stay in Noosa.

It gives an adults-only vibe but there were a lot of children. Even staying outside of holidays there were too many children at the resort for me, often by the pool or private beach my quiet time with a book was ruined. I also didnt appreciate having to empty my own bins before we left the apartment, it seems a bit silly when housekeeping would come in and clean the rest?

We were welcomed so warmly on a rainy day in July. The staff went above and beyond to help us settle in. The amenities of the property are a stand out with an enormous heated pool and spa. This allowed for lovely evening swims and relaxation in the spa. The gym was well equipped and the sauna is a great touch. We used the kayaks available to hire and being right on the river it was easy to hop in and out at our leisure. We enjoyed the sunset every evening along the many tables around the rivers edge and enjoyed a bbq on the well maintained facilities. Every morning a short stroll to the cafes for a coffee and a bite to eat. A small convenience store was also handy when we ran out of things. We stayed for 2 weeks and look forward to heading back again next year. Our stay was a 10/10.

Nothing to not like!

The staff were amazing! The view from the deck was the best. We were watching the birds chasing fish and crabs on the shore and boats passing by. Coffee shop on the street and convenience shop. The gym, pool and spa were not expected. The resort was clean and great for families. The beds comfortable and the kitchens fully equipped. Only negative thing was the shower must lose water out onto the floor in ensuite shower of 37. It was a puddle each time we showered we had to mop it up. Maybe seals on shower need to be redone. Only a minor issue.

We loved our stay at Culgoa. We had a beachfront 3 bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and really nice. The resort facilities were amazing, great pool and spa complex and perfect for kids of all ages including a paddling pool for the little kids. There was also a small tennis court which was great fun. The location was perfect nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Hastings st. Hasting st easy walking distance if needed or a bus stop close by. There was a bus stop which was a 2 min walk away and also a 2 minute walk away was a really nice restaurant, general store and also a couple of cafes. The kayaks you could hire were a hit. Our stay there was so relaxing and great plenty of room for us all. We would definitely stay here again.

There was one lady at reception who wasn’t that clued up on some things and was a little bit rude not the manager lady a younger lady. The other reception staff were great.

Great location. Little bit of road noise from the bridge but nothing to cause annoyance. Lovely corner spot that gave great views of the river. Always something to see happening on the river. Unit we stayed in is getting g a little tired. Fridge broke down on out arrival. We let management know and it was replaced almost immediately without fuss. If you want or need a gym like most places this one was very underwhelming but on the flip side it has a really good size pool.

We loved being right on the river beach and the beautiful sunsets we could see from the property. The pool facility and gym are nice. It is a very relaxing place with beautiful landscaping and views along the river. Our room had a river view that was delightful to wake up to. The bathrooms had both been updated and were lovely. We had a car, so could explore as far and wide as we wished. It is easy to walk in to Main Beach, The Spit and Hastings Street from this resort. Culgoa is nicely tucked away, so offered us a quieter stay with great access to Noosa attractions. The staff were very kind and took time to talk with us about things to do nearby and further afield. Our family did not want to leave when our stay came to an end.

The room we stayed in had a cupboard door under the sink in the kitchen that needed fixing (we couldn't close the adjacent cupboard door so it was always creeping open) and the sofa had many large stains. Hopefully these are easy things to fix and will be handled soon.

What a beautiful part of the world! Lovely waterfront position, great pool and immaculate facilities. Lovely beach and access to the cute general store and a pleasant 20-minute walk to Hastings Street. Great gym ( unused as the pool was too good) and wonderful balcony by the water for the sunset.

No A/C in the bedroom, so was fairly hot with a partly westerly aspect. No cleaning products like spray and wipe to keep things fresh during your stay.

Beautiful apartment recently refurbished by the owner. Each apartment is owned by different people. Culgoa point don't own them. We had room 47, which is beach front and highly recommended. Views were amazing and I just loved sitting on the balcony with a G&T watching the sun set. Lots of available loungers plotted around the gardens. Pool and hot tub were great. Clean and not cold. Barbecues are based around the resort for you to use which we found so handy. Can highly recommend the 2 x restaurants near the complex. Rock Salt and Rick's bar. You do need to book in advance, though. We went mid November, so not too busy. Mixture of cloud, sun & a day or two of rain over an 8 day period. Perfect for exploring or visiting the National park in Noosa. .

Only 1 thing that was annoying was that in the apartment below us, the owner was renovating it. From 8am we had Jack hammers waking us up or tiles being knocked off the walls. Culgoa point told us that on their website, it did state that renovations can occur and to check with them directly to clarify if any apartments near the one you're booking are being upgraded. Having booked through booking.com we were unaware of this..

Nice location on the Noosa river, with lovely sunsets. A good sized heated pool, spa and sauna facilities. Easy 20 minutes walk to Hastings Street and beach. Comfortable bed, nice decor, good facilities overall in the apartment.

The main bedroom and ensuite was a bit small, the wardrobe and hallway storage cupboard needed upgrading. Skirting boards and some doors needed re-painting. Air-conditioning unit needed servicing. No salt and pepper shakers provided.
