The location was superb. We asked for a quiet unit and that is what we got.

The cleaning could be improved.

It was a nice and comfortable apartment, the location was really good, walking distance to bars shops and cafes but also to the beach. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal when you are tired of eating out, very comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi. The pool is a bonus especially for the kids although adults could enjoy some wine and a good book in the evening...very relaxing. The staff was very accommodating. We would definitely come back there again.

The place is a bit dated and some areas needs dusting, like behind the sofas or on top of paintings. Otherwise it was a really nice place. We had a good time.

Great location to town & beach. Spacious rooms. Lovey balcony. Washing machine and dryer were great for life with toddler/baby. Comfortable beds. Warm pool. Only thing was under beds/couch and TV unit didn’t seem to be cleaned found and we found old things (socks toy rubbish) when trying to search for our toys when leaving. Couldn’t get platforms to work on the TV but not the end of the world also didn’t make an effort or ask as wasn’t to bothered. All in all easy and affordable! Thanks for the stay

We’ve just spent a very relaxing week in apartment 17. The location is brilliant - 100 m stroll to 4 Mile Beach. The apartment is spacious, well appointed, comfortable and very quiet. We particularly enjoyed the huge private balcony - it was very easy to have most of our meals there. Though the 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment appeared daunting at first - my 70 + year old legs soon adjusted.

It’s always the little things - we stayed for 7 days and would have appreciated not having to shop for soap, tissues, washing up detergent and paper towels on day 2.

The apartments are in a fabulous location, convenient to everything. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and beach from the apartments. Our apartment was a very good size and well equipped. The whole complex was very clean and well maintained. There is a lovely pool with bbq facilities beside it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mowbay by the Sea. And would have no hesitation in recommending it as a great place to stay.

Short walk to the beach. Four mile beach was a pleasant walk and in shade in the afternoon. A stineger net provided safe swimming and the patrolled section. Pool was an excellent design and always clean and sparkling. We felt very safe. The stafff helped us with luggage. Port douglas had all the facilities we needed.

Fabulous clean apartment with everything you need. Location was spot on with the beach just 2 mins away and a 10 mins walk to the bars, restaurants and shops. The pool was great but a bit shaded some parts of the day. We had a problem with the washing machine not working but it was quickly resolved with a new one fitting the very same morning.

Only thing I could say is that day 2 in to our stay there was a funny spell (drains or a plumbing problem) in the twin bedroom which could of been coming from the bathroom.

Great apart-hotel in a perfect location. There were lots of little things that made the stay even better - beach chairs, pool toys, beach toys, things that just made it feel convenient and good value. The room was really clean. The kitchen was well stocked with the items we needed. The pool was great and warm!

The bed was alright, not spectacular but alright.

2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for family of 4. The location was fantastic, so close to beach and easy walk to Main Street and Marina. Pool and bbq area were great. Apartment was well equipped, with everything we needed and handy to have a washing machine/dryer also.

Location was perfect, so close to the beach and short walk to the main street. Pool was great, a few pool toys and deep and shallow areas. Didn't use it but BBQ located in pool area. Parking easy underground. There was also a collection of things you could borrow (chairs, umbrellas, buckets/spades, books and strollers) in the foyer. The stroller came in handy for our almost 3 year old that we don't often use a pram any more, but on the last 2 days of our holiday, he was very tired, so used to walk down the street for dinner. The apartment was spacious, tidy and everything we needed. Nice balcony, felt like we were in the trees and were entertained by (fruit?) Bats a few times in the trees.
