Two things really stood out for me at Mad Monkey: the staff are super nice—then again, this is the Philippines, so I shouldn't be surprised 😁—and the facilities. I've travelled across Southeast Asia, and most hostels are average-to-poor in quality. The ethos at Mad Monkey clearly prioritizes guest comfort, which was a very pleasant surprise for me.

Just a couple of relatively minor things: I had a private room, and a small fridge would have been a nice addition. The Wi-Fi seemed spotty at times, but not terrible.

What I like about in Mad Monkey was the Location. It is close to some bars and restaurants. The place is great and money worth for a single traveller like me. I enjoyed my stay. Looking forward to book this place again.

I think they should provide a good breakfast meal for their guest. Like a cup of coffee added to the menu since it is a breakfast. It is incomplete without the coffee!!! As for their room, I suggest that they should provide at least a little hygiene kit. They only had towel provide. and they don't have pillow case. It will be really good if they had at least prepare it for their guest. I hope next time, they can provide a bit welcome kit for those who will stay in Mad Monkey

warm, acommodating staff.. making you feel at home. special mention to lovely. had a comfortable stay. nicely situated in a popular neighborhood. near to all bars, restaurants, makati cbd and everything you need. facilities are clean. best thing is they have curated tours and activities for guests.

Location is amazing! Restaurant and Bar are great if you don't want to go too far. Mini shop around the corner if you need anything during your stay. Their excursions are great, nightly events to keep the guests entertained.

Bad isolation on the bedroom door. Noise from the hallway could wake you up very easily. The door to the balcony also has bad isolation as bugs can get in the room.

Wonderful and very pleasant staff. The check in was seamless. The accomodation is located in the safe Makati on an area with many restaurants and eateries and entertainment center. The Bar hosts various events and the welcome drink was a good experience. I loved the rooms and the cleanliness of the common areas. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

The bathrooms are not so clean.

They were very accommodating from the get go. From our request to all stay in one room to allowing our friends to visit our room. The staff, both online and in person, were very nice and pleasing to deal with There were also a water dispenser at the lobby which was very nice IMO.

The rooftop bar's ariconditioning can be increased. Another vhair in the room maybe needed.

I liked the friendly staff that welcomed us in. They were quick with check-in and walked us to our rooms. They provided us with information about the area we were staying in and answers to any questions we had. They tried their best to create a party vibe. Free breakfast!

There is no lounge area only a rooftop bar and cafe downstairs. It would be nice if there were a lounge where you could repack or meet other travellers. Make sure to bring your lock for the locker!

Property is super nice! It’s the perfect location for someone who’s visiting for a couple nights and want to be close to the nightlife. Mind you, things would be slightly pricier than what you would be pay if you are a little outskirts. Otherwise, great location, lots of good bars, eateries around! People are super nice and helpful. 10/10 recommended!

Nothing that I could think off!

The hostel was relatively new and in good condition...well maintained. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location has pros and cons...Pros: Lots of restaurants and bars and convenient stores.

Cons: The location is full of homeless and beggars if all ages, including children, hustlers and prostitutes...Yucky.

The employees are very polite and friendly, And yeah free bfast is thumbs 👍 👌 for me. The place is easy to find.

The bed,whenever I move the mattress plastic cover makes noise. And the positions of the bunk bed specially when you are in the upper area of the bunk bed you might always accidentally bump your head in the ceiling I'm not that tall what more if the guest is tall person .
