There are many nice hostels you can find around the world, but Hostel Bongo is truly a rare gem. While the beds are super comfortable, the hostel is extremely clean, and the facilities are excellent, Bongo offers something priceless. The people. Originally planning to stay for only three nights, I quickly discovered that this hostel was more than just a nice roof over my head. It was a haven filled with warmth, camaraderie, and genuine hospitality. So much so that I couldn’t help but extend my stay, several times over. While you can find beautiful sights anywhere, it's the people that truly make a place special, and Hostel Bongo has mastered the art of fostering a welcoming community. I genuinely adored this place, and I can’t recommend staying here enough.

Hostel Bingo is a fantastic place, the location is amazing, and the hostel is extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you might need. The kitchen was clean and had all the supplies, and the bathrooms were also very clean and private.

I really wanted to leave this hostel a 10/10 rating, but on my last day one of the staff members treated guests of color very poorly. They didn’t speak English and were treated with no respect or patience. It would also be good to have some curtains on the beds like some other hostels do. Especially since the rooms are mixed, some more privacy would be appreciated.

The staff hospitality exceeds any person's expectation , I felt like I'm staying at my bestie place it was so good to be in . I usually don't do reviews , and I never did for any hotel before but for senka and everyone in the staff who worked hardly to make the place look pretty and provide people with comfort I would absolutely write 42 reviews if possible ( 42 being the symbol of infinity and the ultimate Answer to the meaning of life ) with that being said they deserve 42 stars . If Im ever going back to Serbia this is definitely where I'm staying . I don't even know why you're still reading this , just book the thing already dang it .... Trust me you will no regretti and you will probably be given a spaghetti :) . Words can't be enough to show how I appreciate the people their and especially staff , and I'm sure they can do more than what they already did . Keep it up guys , loved the stay and good luck for what is to come 🖤

Really warm and friendly staff and guests which fostered good atmosphere throughout the hostel. Two of the staff members are studying art history so have great cultural knowledge of the city. the property itself is clean and airy with great facilities, clearly recently decorated. The location is also great, easy walking distance of all main attractions with several bars and restaurants nearby.

Bear in mind you have to give a small deposit for keys which I was unable to retrieve as I was leaving early - not a big deal though as saw it as a tip for great service and the free coffee in the mornings! I would also prefer single sex dormitories but understand this can be difficult to facilitate.

The host is super helpful, response very quickly and beyond the expectations. super location, easy to get to from airport, took bus 72 then only 8 minutes walk from the bus stop. I got there almost midnight, the girl was waiting for me, thanks a lot. this hostel has good vibes, people come around the world, share experience and plans. super close to the farm macket. can.buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meats everyday in super good price. planed to stay 3 nights, definitely extend, don't know how long, one month is least. greatful to recommend to all the travelors to this place.

Perfect hostel

Well located, perfectly clean, friendly staff 10/10

The hostel is in central location in the city. It's surrounded by other buildings, so you do not hear the typical traffic sounds of a big city. The room was small, but very comfortable for a hostel. 2 singe beds, not a double-decker. There were a lot of bathrooms and toilets available. Free good wi-fi. Little notes and instructions on how to use everything. The guy that greeted us was very cool and friendly.

It was a bit difficult to find the right entrance to the yard that leads to the entrance of the hostel. But once you find it all is ok. And it's worth it, because as I said there is no city noise when you want to take a quiet sleep.

The location is great, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff is honestly the best of all the hostels I’be stayed in. A special Thank you to Dusan for the experience in the stadium !

Location perfect! Stuff great! Overall coziness and comfort. Clean, very well organized. Good volunteers very well organozed too. Guests did not have to wash the stuff in the kitchen, it was a job of the volunteers (finally)! Very well heated and hot water available all the time! Homie and friendly atmosphere Right next to a public parking garage if you come by car and right next to the most popular street in Belgrade, Knez Mihajlova to walk by foot. Bonus: The best hairdressing salon in the area is right next to it.

At first I could not find it, google maps took me to a wrong passage. But after a little research I easily located it. There were some people that stayed there for a longer period of time and some of them were snoring very loudly. Which is not something the hostel can control. But they were kind enough to give me another room immediately and I also got earplugs, so I managed to sleep very well!
