Apartment was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and spoke English with me. Location is great, right next to the station and several restaurants. Kitchen was well equipped.

Overall my stay was perfect but there are a few imperfections. Biggest complaint: they emphasize being a smoke-free property. Apparently that doesn't apply to the staff though, as they were often smoking right beneath my balcony and bedroom window. Not pleasant when I wanted to have the windows open. Not much English TV, though I love NHK World, so I watched a lot of that. Breakfast was fine, but doesn't start until 7:30. This seems late for summer when the sun is up so early and people are wanting to get a start hiking earlier. Breakfast room gets very hot on sunny mornings. They also seem to have a hard time keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold.

We liked Everything. The staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The location is perfect! Exactly 1 min walk from the train station 😊 The kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor play areas. Private wellness was great.

The only thing we missed was some equipment to clean the room after cooking and eating. Even a small mop would have been enough. But hopefully, the cleaning staff always came the next morning, so it was okay. Overall, we really had a pleasant and lovely stay. I fully recommend this hotel 👍

Great location, very nice and spacious rooms with a fireplace (we didn’t use it, but it would create a very cozy atmosphere in winter). My wife especially liked the wardrobe, which was designed as a separate room.

We were heating our meal when, the glass plate in the microwave broke in half, which we reported to the reception. It was replaced, but upon check-out, we had to pay for it. We’re not entirely in agreement with this, especially considering it’s a 4-star hotel. If we had broken it by dropping it, we would have paid without question, but in this case, it broke on its own. It wasn’t a large amount, but we feel that in a 4-star hotel, this should have been covered as part of the service.

The hotel is centrally located in Strbske Pleso and has its own private parking with spaces always available. The room (or should I say apartment) was very large, with two separate rooms and very quiet. Everything was very clean and in very good condition. I would choose this hotel again if staying in Strbske pleso another time.

The hotel has its own restaurant and bar. While the breakfast was OK, I couldn't manage to figure out the working hours of the restaurant for dinner during our stay. We were sent out from it at different times on different days when trying to have dinner or just drinks in not so late hours (8 or 9 pm), without quite understanding why.

We loved our stay at the Crocus hotel. The location is just wonderful, at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, and close to the lake. The apartment we got was very spacious, with a separate living room, shower room, toilet and a walk in closet. The breakfast was good, with a nice restaurant view. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is very professional and friendly. We might stop here again.

The hotel charges 25 Euro for a dog/night. Which is over anything we ever paid until now. I did not like the lack of transparency on this aspect. Please note that you have to register the dog before arriving. Otherwise we found everything ok.

It is difficult to speak about location in a village so small, nevertheless, this one has it the best - just a few steps from the train station, the supermarket and nearly all the restaurants. The suite is very comfortable in every aspect. There's a large wardrobe where one can dry their garments, which must be especially useful for skiing. There's also a kitchenette if you don't feel for a dinner in a restaurant. Beds are extremely comfy with a set of pillows of every size and softness. Very diverse and nutritious breakfasts. Ventilation in the bathroom and in the toilet is very efficient, humidity has no chance.

Minor problems with the kitchenette stock - cooking oil wasn't in, also there was sugar in the salt cellar (I presume that was a prank from previous guests). Also ventilation in the bathroom was quite roaring!

We are returning guests. We have already spent in this particular hotel 3 nice family vacations - once in the Winter (2016) and twice in Summer (2022 and 2025). We love the hotel - spacious apartments, great location and delicious breakfast are the highlights. This is a great place to stay in High Tatras.

The hotel has a great location - a lot of trekking routes start just right from the hotel building, spacious rooms, a kitchen, and all the needed stuff. The train station doesn't disturb you at night. There is parking in the hotel but if it is full - public parking is available just near the hotel for 15 EUR/day. I recommend visiting Wellness - it is modern, fine, and cool for relaxation.

Great hotel... close to the railway station, lake, and not too far away from the sports area. Cozy rooms with fireplace, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good breakfast, also with some variety. Friendly and well-informed staff at reception. Parking included

The refresh rate for some of the breakfasts food could be better 😉
