Very good selection of sauna's and wellness facilities. Extra spa experiences such as massages are facial treatments are also available. Waiters at the restaurant are very pleasent. Balcony facing tree crowns. Spacious rooms. Great location, few minutes walk to restaurants.

Mineral water in the lux room costs extra €7 per bottle. At the price of the room surely this water should be included in the price. Breakfest serves everyday leftovers from previous days which leads to food not being so fresh such as dry cured salmon, rotting fruits or puddings, except scrambled eggs and juices which are topped up ever morning. Spa massages and cosmetic procedures are overpriced - especially €110 for body peeling, mask and then rince off with moisturiser. Sofa-bed creaks with every move and hae a very thin mattress.

Amazing place! A truly relaxing and peaceful stay. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. We really enjoyed the food — both the breakfast and dinner options were delicious and nicely presented. We also visited the wine bar and the English bar — both had a lovely atmosphere. One of the highlights was the wellness area. We were lucky to be there when it wasn’t crowded, so we could fully enjoy the swimming pool and all the saunas in peace. Would definitely recommend for a calm and rejuvenating getaway!

The only small issue we encountered was a piece of broken glass in the room — I accidentally cut my finger. It might have been an oversight during cleaning, but it’s worth double-checking for future guests.

Our stay was amazing, I did not want to leave. Everything from the beginning, welcome drink, free parking spot, size of the apartament, great wellness center, delicious food at the restaurant, hearty breakfast, friendly, opened people and all the little details like dog stuff in the room for our little princess, full mini fridge, mountain design, subtel music, relax room, bar, rooftop tarace, all the views and wonderful scent of the pines, showed us, that this hotel is a true precious gem. Great base to go hiking an relax 😉😘

It is a very cozy hotel. The rooms are clean and have a balcony, the beds are also very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spa in the hotel is nice, there are different saunas, a jacuzzi etc. The massages are also recommended. We had booked half board, the breakfast buffet is complete and the dinners are creative and delicious (course menu). The hotel is well located, you can walk to the village center in 15 minutes.For those who want to go skiing, there is also a bus from the hotel that takes you to the ski lift.

This hotel is fabulous. We were welcomed with all necessary things in the room and even more. The fridge in the room was stuffed with any kind of drink and at our arrival also chocolates on our pillows were there waiting for us. Breakfast is in a very nice restaurant of the hotel and choice is wide and quality high. Rooms with balcony had two chairs and flowers on the balcony. The hotel is very quiet and staff was extremely kind. I was not feeling very well and they allowed me to take Breakfast in the room. Everything was so good that we decided to stay one more night so they found an exactly the same room and charged us the same price. Everything was perfect.

Great for skiing with transfer bus to slopes and then lovely wellness area for after skiing. Staff nice especially at the bar! Very friendly. We had a great time. I also got a hot Stone massage which Was super relaxing!!

Room is a little dark. Breakfast is ok but not great, especially the Coffee. Also: in the evenings only a menue for 38 Euros was available which was a shame, i would have liked a "normal" menue.

- view of the neighbouring high-rise apartment building (but this is not the fault of Borovica) - when on balcony, there was always this ventilation noise (this probably applies only to some rooms) - could be a little bit bigger choice of food for breakfast (e.g. plant milk, gluten-free and dairy-free products)

We loved the food, it was excellent! Definitely suggest to visit the restaurant even if you don't stay in the hotel. The service is great, the staff was polite and helpful. The wellness is worth it. Even if you don't have a car, you can reach the hotel because it is very close to the train station Strbske Pleso. The lake is also in walking distance. The room was very clean. We surely suggest this hotel :)

Amazing location. Food is excellent. Staff are very knowledgable and polite. It is really easy to get to beautiful places from here. The room is well equipped.

Our room had an extra bed in the room that took too much space and they couldn't remove it from the room. But other than that everything was perfect.

Hotel is nicely decorated, the staff is unbelievably helpful and willing to support. The restaurant is very comfortable, the breakfast and dinner offer is fulfilling the expectations. When you ask for something on top of usual offer, the staff is doing their best to provide the requested service - very professional.

The location of the hotel is a out of the central point of the town - you have to go up a steep hill (I can not imagine how disabled people or elderly could make it?), there are no sidewalks for pedestrians, there are missing signs on how to get to the lake, etc. I am also wondering why the hotel has the view to the opposite (ugly) apartment building - maybe some trees would optically separate the nice hotel from the road/opposite building...
