The location is fabulous. Right on the beachfront, with a great view of Table Mountain. We also find the Milnerton/Sunset Beach area, very convenient. There is a small shopping centre nearby with a Woolies food shop and restaurant if you need anything. The dining room at the hotel is open for all meals and the food is delicious. The staff, every single one, are outstanding. Always happy, always obliging, always polite. The rooms are wonderful - big, well laid out, lots of drawers and cupboard space, a fire place, a/c and a little lounge and dressing table area. The mattress is excellent.

The views were gorgeous with direct access to the beach, friendly and very helpful staff, fresh breakfast spread, great security with a guard throughout the night at the front desk, daily housekeeping, bathtub and shower and free water.

We had the Atlantic Suite, and unfortunately, there was a small gap in the one sliding door, which affected the room temperature a bit (too hot and then too cold). This place is great for people who want to get away from the busy city, but it is quite far from points such as V&A, Clifton, etc.

The quality of service and amenities was worth every cent.

Our time at Atlantic Palms Hotel in Sunset Beach was absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable—right on the beachfront with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the ocean. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying sunset walks just steps from our room. The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and beautifully maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile—it really felt like a home away from home. Whether you're here to unwind, explore Cape Town, or simply soak up the coastal views, Atlantic Palms is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!

The cleanliness, the views, the extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Exceptional quality and standards. They make you feel at home and cater to your needs. The views are exceptional and breathtaking overlooking table mountain. The step out onto the beach in your backyard vibe was amazing, the water the sand the view simply awesome. Would definitely be visiting atlantics palms again.

The menu did not have a variety of options to choose from.

We enjoyed our stay, the beach and Table Mountain View was immaculate🥰. We doubtfully opted for the pool view room(Sand Dollar)and the results were amazing💃🏾💃🏾Waking up to the sound of the ocean is soothing💆‍♀️. The passage gate to the beach is super cool ❤️ The staff’s teamwork is beautiful. Tazz is so sweet and welcoming. Jp Loves making and serving drinks, I didn’t get everyone else’s names but they were all great 👍🏼 👌👌

The Atlantic Palms hotel is a hidden gem. The entrance is hidden but once inside the gate, you arrive in a modern hotel with access to the beach and view of the Table Mountain. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding!! We also took twice dinner and the choice and presentation was perfect too. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Perhaps a sign of the location from the main road?

I loved the view from our room both mornings and at night. It was beautiful. I enjoyed my breakfast every morning. It was delicious. I liked the variety of channels offered on the TV.

I didn't like that the dirty towels were not changed after we used them. They didn't refill things like the shampoo and lotion which ran out after some time. They don't offer dinner especially because the location was not good and we heard there's a township not far so travelling at night to the city is not so good. The sand from the beach which had been there since our day of arrival after visiting the beach, was not cleaned. This sand remained until we left which means they only tidy up the bed and do not really do a general clean. I don't think there were that many rooms in the entire place that they could miss cleaning properly.

Atlantic pàlms gave the best service from the time l booked the place the lady in chat helped me change my room without issues, when we arrived the staff was waiting for us, gentleman even called me by name showing they were anticipating our arrival. Facilities are magnificent, overal stay was perfect

Keys could be improved to card the bunch of keys is no longer ideal, and room service could improve a little by fetching plàtes after dinner

Located in a residential area so extremely quiet surroundings. Free secure parking on site. Staff welcoming and friendly throughout stay. Fantastic beach with the most incredible views of Table Mnt. Room had everything needed for a short overnight / short stay. Good breakfast and food options served until 6pm.

Think it varies a lot in terms of what room type you book but in our case we shared a communal lounge / kitchen area with 3 other rooms. Unfortunately we encountered some rather loud mouthed guests, definitely wanting to make their presence known and waking us up early on our last chance for a lay-in before heading home. Not the fault of the accommodation but did spoil an otherwise faultless stay.
