Location was good. Stayed in room 6 on lower level, but still had a good view across the bay. Room was large with comfortable King bed plus two other single beds. two chairs in room with coffee table and DSTV. Two chairs plus table out on the balcony. Kettle plus basic crockery and cutlery for four people were in the room. Sachet coffee, sugar and long-life milk was provided. Both the aircon and fridge functioned well and were dead silent. There is a small key operated safe. Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast included three different cereals plus muesli, fresh milk, juice, two flavours of yoghurt and muffins or croissants. The hot breakfast had four options including mince on muffins, pancake stack, French toast or basic English. I had the basic English and it was cooked exactly to my request and liking. Three different types of bread were on offer and could be toasted and a toaster, coffee and tea were available. Restaurants were within walking distance. One is spoilt for choice with restaurants in Gordon's Bay and Strand if you are willing to take a short drive. Bikini Beach is within walking distance.

No microwave. Ceiling fan did not work. Pod coffee machine in dining room did not work. Shower is in the bath. Parking is off street but not behind walls or gates and is on a steep slope (so not ideal for motorcycles or persons with mobility issues)

Noisey street but makes sense cause it's on a main road , also outside parking.

The location is great and the views fantastic. The staff are all super friendly and the breakfasts delicious with a wide variety of choices. It is a perfect spot from where to explore the coast, winelands and even Cape Town. It is also nice to have safe parking. The bed was very comfortable and having a kitchenette was most convenient. Even in rainy weather you can sit outside on the sheltered stoep and enjoy the views across the bay or to the mountains. I miss the fresh air!

The room and view are exceptional. The staff is friendly. Thanks Kerry-Ann and Letitia for all your chats. We felt like family. Breakfast homemade and delicious. Never had such a view and space ever. .

One negative point was the veranda needed more frequent cleaning.

I had the most relaxing and peaceful stay at Berg en Zee guesthouse. My reson for travel was to get away from the busy town life, wake up to a clear view of the ocean, as well as explore a town that I don't know well. Berg en Zee is very close to a few nice restaurants as well as shops, however far enough to not hear what people are getting up to till late at night. They also have a very nice breakfast menu that caters to all dietary likings (fruit, meat, yogurts, starch, etc.) I walked through town a bit, checked out a few guesthouses from the outside, and am confident to say that I chose the best spot for what I was looking for. I will definitely be back, thank you for the great experience.

I can't complain about anything, however it would be nice to have a bigger dustbin in the room.

Kerry and her staff were excellent with supporting our family. We brought the kids and grandson along and the staff helped immensely. The breakfast was outstanding as always. This is our second home! The venue is close to the beach and the kids could easily pop out for a swim.

Spacious and comfortable penthouse suite - stayed in room 7. Excellent English breakfast served each day. Loved the views of the sea and the mountain in a quiet setting.

Parking is not secure although I understand that there are security cameras. Minor maintenance needed in places.

Breakfast was amazing, the best fruit salad and egg omelets in town! The location is superb, within walking distance to the beach and the views over False Bay are spectacular. Staff are super friendly and supportive and the rooms are well furnished with quality finishes.

Not much, there really are no comments to be made. Perhaps consider some maintenance on the property, but I am sure some of this is attributable to the long closure periods during the Covid lockdown.

The room was perfect for us, in terms of location, and comfort… spacious, comfy bed, aircon, seating area and nice balcony. The views were absolutely amazing. ❤️Kerry and Letitia made us feel so at home and the breakfast was too good! Thank you Kerry, and your staff for a special time at your wonderful Guesthouse.

An exceptional breakfast was served every morning. The room was spacious for two adults and two children. The host, Kerry-Ann received us personally upon arrival and was very helpful and curious throughout our stay. The accommodation have very good security measures in place and you don't have to worry about unwanted visitors.
