Staying at this rental property was one of the most delightful experiences I’ve ever had, from the breathtaking, rose-covered farmhouse to the cuisine that deserves a five-star rating. The almond cake, in particular, was the best I’ve ever tasted. The warm and welcoming family who owns the farm made me feel like part of their own, creating an unforgettable atmosphere you simply can’t miss.

The only downside? I may never be able to enjoy regular almond cake again without comparing it to theirs. Honestly, the roses were so beautiful that I was tempted to start a garden, and now my yard feels terribly inadequate!

Beautiful country setting in close proximity to Clarens, with abundant birdlife, lush gardens and perfectly manicured lawns Quiet, peaceful and secure. The bedroom was large, very clean and comfortable, with a walk-in shower and full en suite bathroom with a separate loo. Bedding and linen were crisp and clean. The patio overlooking the garden was private and peaceful. Tastefully modern with all the facilities which you may need. We have found a new favourite place [for us] in Clarens and will certainly return. Highly recommended!

Our stay was far too short!!

They really did go the extra mile with small detail like replenishing the rusks every day. The weekend was exceptionally cold so the underfloor heating really made a difference. A well finished and contemporary room.

The clear story window allowed light in before 6am which made it hard to sleep late which is one of the things we really needed. We are also used to a slightly softer bed, but I realise it is a personal preference.

Beautiful Wedding Venue that they converted into Stunning Rooms and a Coffee Shop. We didn't get to eat breakfast at their Coffee Shop but a variety was on offer with a menu in the room. It was Argitechturally amazing, however for the cold weather in the Eastern FreeState they should offer better heating facilities. They went out their way with extra personal touches everywhere.

Under floor heating and small wall heater in the bathroom is definately not sufficient for those extremely cold winters they get. Maybe offer an electric blanket and install an air conditioner for those days.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable accommodation on a working farm that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped through the door to our room, we were greeted by tasteful spotlessly clean surroundings. The quality of the amenities provided was evident in every detail. Our room featured a kitchenette, small lounge and beautiful patio onto the lush garden. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their warm hospitality added an extra layer of charm to the already delightful ambiance. Moreover, the on-site restaurant offered a delightful culinary experience, with a lovely selection of dishes for both lunch and breakfast. The fresh ingredients sourced from the garden and farm added an extra dimension to the meals, making each bite a true delight. In summary, our stay at this accommodation was nothing short of exceptional. With its spotless cleanliness, quality amenities, attention to detail, beautiful furnishings, wonderful garden and farm, and friendly hosts, it provided an unforgettable retreat that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a tranquil and memorable getaway.

Beautiful place with the most amazing gardens. The entire place exceeded our expectations. The level of detail and thoughtful spaces was so impressive. This is a place where the owners didn't skimp on anything. They have everything to make your stay super comfortable. The accommodation is on a livestock farm, so a little tip - take something for flies. There is doom in the rooms, but somehow the flies were persistent. The hosts and staff and their dogs were super hospitable.

We had a wonderful stay at Andes! The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to Clarens Town. The attention to detail added to the luxurious feeling, breakfast in the garden or at the Andes Cafe was a lovely touch that made the stay even more special. Pristine grounds, 5 star amenities with the kitchenette being a great touch. The host was very warm and welcoming. She went out of her way our needs were taken care of. We felt extremely special and will definitely return!

Unfortunately due to the heavy rains there was a few roof leaks with one directly onto our bed. This was the only blemish for an otherwise outstanding place. The host did promise to get the leaks repaired.

The breakfast was incredible! Can't recommend it enough! The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful and they made it feel very special.

The dustbin wasn't cleaned out from the previous visitors and they hadn't had time to check the gas for the fireplace but this was hardly a problem.

Wonderful location 5 min drive in to Clarens Town. The room was curated and comfortable with all the amenities one could need and the property beautiful and great for children to explore and play.

The room we stayed in is right next door to the cafe, therefore privacy is a little bit compromised during the cafe's opening hours (only open until 16:00 though and is very convenient to have on the property with delicious food).
