The house is in a very good area. This helps me a lot and makes traveling to the different kzn area easy for me. The staff is always and ever ready to assist me. This was my 3rd visit and have informed the company, that the Burnham has become my second home when i am in Durban. I mean my views, i can just smell the sea.

I loved everything. I am sure there is always room for improvement, however, due to the fact that i always receive exceptional service, I really have no complaints.

Great central but quiet location. Very close to the main Umhlanga attractions but a reasonable distance from central Durban too. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and very friendly staff. The view of the ocean from the dining room is amazing and the breakfast is served hot, fresh and is quite filling. The staff is also very kind and friendly and are on the ball with everything they do.

The bathroom was a bit small and the parking inside the place is very steep and may catch out some people that don't drive too well. The side tables next to the bed were also too small.

I will not be able to remember each detail but we haven't had 5 star treatment like this in a while, the minute we parked 2 ladies came out and offered to help with our luggage, mind you it was super cold and at night. They were so hospitable!!! Our room was clean, TV was working, there were Toiletries and lots of clean white towels! The views from our room...spectacular, beautiful sunrise and sound of the waves. The food!!! Flavorsome and delectable!! I loved the consistency of a buffet even when I was the only guest eating on Sunday morning, most guests left early for comrades but Amanda still prepared buffet for me. The ladies were friendly and professional with all guests.The neighborhood is soo serene, short drive to Oceans mall and the beach. We have definitely found a home away from home, will be back soon.

There is honestly nothing I didn't like, just a few suggestions 1. Perhaps invest in a good coffee machine, a Cappuccino would be nice☕️. 2. Next to the mirror, mount a towel rail which guests can use to hang their bath towels and lastly please provide the disposable shower caps.

The area is so quiet and extremely safe, I saw security patrolling the area which was comforting. The ocean view was phenomenal, we had breakfast on the deck facing the sea which was so serene. Special thank you to the incredible staff, the staff is amazing, they kept checking up on us, as if we were the only guests there. I was blown away at how they managed to make all guests feel at home. The food was delicious, my 8 year nephew went for round 2 every morning.

Absolutely nothing All was great

I don't know why i never knew of this plqce before but now that I have discovered it, I dont think i would be going anywhere else. Loved how spacious the room was, the privacy you get while you are there can't even be compared to a hotel. I did not feel couped up like i normally do in places. I am not a breakfast person but gave it a go lnce and I can say- the way they make their mushrooms, OUT OF THIS WORLD!. Staff is very friendly and place is really quiet and peaceful.

I wished i could book gor the whole of my 5 day holiday but unfortunately found it late. Could only get 3 days.

Perfect pet friendly stay, we stayed downstairs and had a fully enclosed garden outside our door. Very light spacious room with aircon and ceiling fan. Kitchenette with fridge, air fryer, convection plate. Braai area outside. Sea views. A walk to the beach, but the area is safe and it is not far from the Umhlanga promenade. The beach is dog friendly, dogs to be on a lead. Staff were amazing, will definitely return again and again!

Always a lovely stay at Burnham, hospitality from the whole staff is so amazing from the moment you enter the premises, sis Jeanette is so welcoming...the room was spotless with lots of towels and sufficient Toiletries...the sea view from our room was so beautiful and serene, I always go to Burnham with high expectations for breakfast 😊 and they never disappoint, scrumptious!!!😀

Nothing to dislike

I had a great stay, the view and staff were more than helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I was disappointed not to have had any tissues, or shower caps provided for a 4 Star establishment. My TV was erratic. I used Uber to travel to Umhlanga and it was very reasonably priced. Overall a very good stay and excellent hospitality. Judy Hofer Johanneburg

Better WIFI connection. There were no shops around and if you don't have a car, bear this in mind. The walk to the beach is very steep as it is a hilly area. So, these are just things to bear in mind and were easily solved.

I was impressed as soon as I laid my foot inside the building. A warm welcome from the staff and they immediately carried assisted me with my bags while I was filling in the papers. Their breakfast was exceptional and delicious. I have to come back and this time I'm bringing my husband. I'm happy with the staff as well, they are so friendly and make the place feel like home.

Prior to my recent visit, I was last here in February 2022. When I compare then to now, the place is still amazing. The B&B is consistent in terms of deliverying great service. The staff is the friendliest in the world, I am touched by their friendliness, it is rare to find these days. The view was beautiful, the pool was relaxing, the room was neat and the breakfast delicious.
