I felt like I was in New York! The loft apartment is very trendy in its decor and we were so pleased to have a view of the beach, on the left of the balcony. Coffee every morning while looking out at the ocean was lovely. When we arrived, a lovely setup of tea/coffee and these beautiful Le Creuset mugs had been arranged on the counter for us, with milk in the fridge (which I had forgotten to bring!) - this was really great and showed an extra touch was made for our stay. We used the gas stove to make omelettes for breakfast and it, along with the other appliances we used, all worked really well. The apartment was well equipped with what we needed, including kitchen cleaning materials, to enjoy a home away from home environment, which was exactly what I was looking for. The lounge was really comfortable and it was easy to set up Netflix when we stayed up late one night. The bedroom was cosy with plenty of towels and lovely decor pieces. Overall, a great place to stay!

One can see into the bathroom from the bedroom via a glass panel in the shower. It wasn't great because everytime one of us used the toilet, the other went downstairs, to provide some privacy. It would be more comfortable if it was frosted for privacy. The bin in the kitchen is quite small and as we booked the apartment to include use of the kitchen (as I'm gluten intolerant and needed to prepare my own meals), a bigger bin to dispose of rubbish would have been great. There's one airconditioner in the bedroom, for the apartment. It was very hot and humid in Durban during our time there, so we had the airconditioner on at night. Unfortunately, it's position means it was blowing directly on my husband in bed and he ended up getting a cold afterwards.

The location is wonderful, and the view is incredible. There is a variety of eateries at the Legacy yard. It's safe, with the Sky spa a stonethrow away.

The biometrics was not working throughout our stay and could not be sorted for the duration of the stay . This was quite an inconvenience having us to go to reception and waiting for reception each time to access our room. We requested a late checkout but was logged out of the wifi by late morning and this was not resolved until leaving (bearing in mind that the television works with wifi too). There is damp and. & mould in room 2005,and you can smell the drain, the bathrooms need an extractor. The rooms need additional pillows - there are 2 very soft pillows.

The staff was nice and friendly The property is very safe Plenty parking space

We didn't get the celebratory decor or drinks as we were promised by the host The housekeeping staff needs to pay more attention, there were crumbs on the carpet on our arrival.

Was disappointed, the AirCondition was not working!!!! You pay R6500 a night , one expects to arrive at an apartment with everything functioning 100%… These are checks that should have been done before guests arrive!!! The other disappointment, there’s no pool , every other building around has a pool!!!

I really liked the loft and the interior of it

It the fact that I had to pay for my parking tickets for day as one of your staff members wasn’t competent enough to thoroughly explain to me as to how I should manoeuvre around that. I had to wait 45min for a staff member to come and assist me in my room which I wasn’t happy about

Concierge was very communicative. Check-in was super easy. The loft was absolutely stunning, it smelt amazing and it was furnished beautifully. We would definitely recommend this unit!

I have nothing to fault.

I loved everything about the apartment. It was clean, modern and very functional.

I wish they had a plug point in the bathroom or beneath mirror for a blow dryer or hair straighter because it was such a hassle to do my hair, I had to remove the mirror and put it near the side lamp in point so that I could do my hair.

there was a discrepancy between the booking.com price and what the property asked for ,however it was eventually sorted out. while booking there was an offer for shuttle on booking.com however the property was not aware of it . There’s also a breakage fee that’s only communicated after payment has been made, didn’t mind it but would have liked the information to be known while booking ,R2000 on top of the booking price during peak seasons and R1000 during non peak seasons. there’s currently construction going on so if you don’t mind a bit of noise you’ll be fine

The property was clean and Modern

I asked for a unit with the sea view weeks before checking in. I was told that the type of unit I booked doesn’t have a sea view. on my arrival at the hotel the receptionist told me that if I had come earlier I was going to be allocated a unit with a sea view. I was upset with the dishonesty of the establishment and the fact that they couldn’t a simple inquiry.
