I checked in later then expected but I called in and confirmed The lady who has on duty made a follow up call just to confirm if I was still coming(which really gave a good impression that as guests we matter) When we arrived everything in our room was in order. And the staff went an extra mile to assist when ever we needed. Our door kept on jamming and it couldn't close at times and when ever we reported they assisted promptly.

I loved everything but if you can include soap dispenser on the bathrooms that would be great. And if you can add maybe a mat on the bathroom

I wish I had included the breakfast when I was booking it would have been cheaper, but the breakfast was really good. Such a nice bathroom but I was not happy with some of the things like there was no brush to clean the toilet, no fridge no water provided for us. I loved the fact that it was very clean, the cleaning stuff made sure we are staying in the clean room.

Provide brushes to clean toilets. Fridge in each floor if its not in the room. Water must be provided to avoid going to the receptionist to ask for water.

I was nervous, as I normally book one of the "big Chain" hotels, but i was surprised about this little gem, whimsical decor and friendly staff. the fact that you cannot go upstairs without your room key to "tag in" made me feel a bit safer. Breakfast was enjoyable, it was not 5Star, but it was good. What stood out for me was the quiet atmosphere, there was not a rush of people.

The hotel was centrally located in Umhlanga and not too far away from the beach. The staff was very kind and allowed me an early check in. The room was clean and begging and towels were equally fresh and clean. Bathroom was also clean. The room was cleaned and refreshed everyday. The wifi in the room decently fast. There was complimentary tea and coffee in the room. There was an easily accessible ironing room, which was quite helpful.

My room unfortunately had several aircon systems outside and struggled to fall asleep because of the noise of the machines.

Location was perfect as I was attending the "Universal Prayer for World Peace" at River Range Ranch in Verulam. Your prices were very affordable. Your Hospitality and welcome was good. Ms Rumain and Ms Rogini were great hosts. Rogini and her staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Beverages and the tasty treats as compliments to the vegetarian and vegans from the Host and Team is sincerely appreciated especially to those attending this Peace Prayer. Well done to Regal Inn and their Team. Your motto " Love All, Serve All" certainly bore testament in every sense of words. Thanks and Blessings Vijay and Kevin Pillay Pietermaritzburg

I have stayed here before and having 10/10 service by the staff makes all the difference. Always a pleasant stay because of the great staff. Room is always clean, bed super comfy, safe location.

This not a compliant but more of a suggestion, if Halaal meals can be included in your menu. Would be nice if meals could be purchased between 6 pm and 9 pm at least. And the availability of the Chateaux Gateaux cakes will be nice.

The staff was very friendly & very helpful. The location is superb. A walking distance from Gateway Mall. A short drive to the beach. Convenient shopping areas & plenty of restaurants. Whenever I'm in Durban that's where I'll stay again. Overall, it was amazing.

There's no phone in the rooms to contact reception. And the wardrobe space is only sufficient for one person & there's no bar fridge in the rooms.

My overall experience was good, with clean and modern rooms. However, the rooms could be a bit more spacious.

did have a couple of issues, though: 1. The receptionist seemed unfriendly and a bit rude. 2. Considering the price, I was surprised by the limited budget for bathroom supplies and the lack of decent tea options - I expected more than just powdered milk for our tea.
