Excellent location – right across from the mall and next to some great restaurants. The beds were super comfortable, and the full bathroom was perfect for soaking in the tub and relaxing. The room was a good size with easy access from the lifts, and getting to the beach was a quick and inexpensive Uber ride.

Construction work taking place at the time, which meant we didn’t have access to the pool. Additionally, the room key kept giving us problems, which was a bit frustrating.

I stay here regularly for work and the breakfasts are average. Same layout day after day is boring! I don't eat beef or pork so I have to make do with whatever is available yet there are many Indian Butcheries who cater for Chicken or Mutton. On this trip, we decided not to book breakfast so we had breakfast at Gateway at a fraction of the price

The noise from the Clubs around the area is very disturbing. Some guests are also very loud and they make a noise in the passage during the night as well as in the sitting area downstairs. You are attracting many bottom end patrons. U need to upgrade quality of iron and ironing boards please.

Everything in particular the hotel was clean the staff was very welcoming when I went there last week to pay Saneh was very kind towards me when I went to check in Sis Pat and Nonhle gave me excellent service👌👌

The noise from the construction and the noise from the near by Clubs

I liked environment, close to the mall, service was very good, staff was very friendly.

I dd not like the way we open the doors with those clock card like, because I was struggling to open my door, i insert the card nd take long to open. I robed and insert eish ya sometimes its a struggle to open using that card. The ice machine as well, does not release ice it takes time and release one by one, it need to be fixed to work properly, unless if someone go to the bar to ask for the ice.

The privacy and that you allow Mr D to deliver to my room. Many hotels make me come down to reception and most of the time it's a leisure holiday so I'm in my pj's and to come down to reception I will have to go and get dressed properly. Thank you for allowing deliveries to the room.

I didn't like that you don't have a fridge in the room and also that you don't have any good channels on TV, you guys should get more dstv channels.

The breakfast was good. the service was confusing at first but once we figured it out, everything went okay.

the cleaning staff ignored our do not disturb sign. they attempted entry multiple times even with the sign up. they also took over 4 hours on a certain day to finish clean up in our unit.

Location is perfect. It is great when you are mostly out and not sitting in the room all day. It was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly, professional and prompt with any request. Will definitely be back!!

They were busy with renovations which couldn't be helped.

Friendly staff Making the rooms every day Very good food at the restaurant Aircon in the room helps a lot. Location is perfect 3km from beach and a short walk , right across from Gateway mall.

This really good hotel is situated right over from the biggest and best shopping malls in the Durban area which meant that you have many food and entertainment options very near. The north of Durban has lots of great beaches and visitor attractions too. 20 minutes from the airport, which was very handy.
