Great location in Durban, close to restaurants, bars and some shops. Safe residential area in city center, a bit far from the beaches, but on top of the hill offering a stunning view. Old style house, "vintage" style. Some rooms have private bathroom, some shared. Friendly staff, owners on site, very helpful and kind. Relaxed and casual atmosphere, cozy. Breakfast available on request. Fully equipped kitchen and living area available for guests. Pool and sundeck. Room offers little fridge, TV, big mirror, coffee set and delicious biscuits. Hot shower and full toiletries. Good value for money.

Everything was fine, just a little noisy (cars on the street, other guests, staff and housekeepers chatting early the morning), but it's just because the old style house with very thin walls.

A perfect stay in Durban! Holland House is incredible. From the warm and welcoming staff, to the beautiful rooms (with one of the nicest bathrooms and showers I have had in an accommodation), and to the amazing view of the city from the upper deck, I enjoyed every bit of this stay. The location is also ideal: close to Florida Road and a quick Uber ride down to the waterfront. A special thanks must go to Elliot, whose hospitality was just incredible. He was always available to provide support and insights on moving around Durban. Highly recommend Holland House!

Holland House is conveniently located close to Durban ICC, the room was cosy, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast every morning and the staff are simply outstanding. Couldn't ask for a better place. The bathrooms are not partitioned and is very much open plan which didn't bother me at all but could for those sharing a room.

All round a superb place to stay. Elliotte is extremely accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious for the family with a special view of the city. We didn't eat breakfast this time but have previously stayed at Holland House, where they also provided awesome breakfast. We'll be back!

Nothing, all was amazing.

Checking in went very smooth, safe parking, a nice clean room, a great location within walking distance from Florida Street, and an exceptionally good breakfast (also for our vegan family member). The staff gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to go. This B&B in an historic building is clearly run with love and a great eye for detail. We felt very much at home here thanks to the exceptionally kind and welcoming staff. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Durban.

The parking space is safe and big enough, the neighbourhood is Quiet and peaceful but not too far from the buzzing Florida road where restaurants and convenient stores are, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and had everything we needed including the hairdryer and a nice workstation if you need to check those emails or do some work.

The bathroom is not in suit, however our room was a budget room the establishment have other rooms where bathrooms are in suit, and that was not that much of an issue because our bathroom was close enough and private

Gorgeous Morningside property, very spacious, immaculate hygiene, thoughtfully decorated and amazing staff - if you want somewhere that feels like special and a home from home in Morningside this is the place. Dealing with Elliot was great, nothing he couldn’t or wouldn’t do to make us feel at home!

We are a group of friends who like to take pictures the area was so lovely we have got lovely pictures and other friends are interested in ur BnB. I rate this place 120/100 pls reader don't correct my numbers. Ur place is a home away from home it's warm welcome place it's super clean it's specious. I can say everything is on point.

I didn't like the fact that when you enter the front door,you are greeted by a toilet. There is no door that separates your room from the toilet, its just an open space

The location is perfect, we love the view looking the sun rise over the city view… Amazing. The rooms beautiful clean and comfortable the stuff very friendly. We definitely would love to visit again

Would have love a tv In our bedroom… also if you possibly have an option to order breakfast in your room as we woke up late and missed our breakfast time.
