The location is great, i was worried having been told many stories about Joburg security however i was blown away i left with no incident the hotel is in a secure neighbourhood they even partner with a transport company that made my life really easy moving around the area and beyond.

I loved everything i will definitely be back however for guests staying shorter times i see no reason why our rooms should be given a clean up charge, this was not mentioned by booking.com imagine finding a notice in the room we understand sustainable practices apply however these need to be communicated in advance. Apart from laying my bed nothing else was done to my all the three days i was at your property.

The staff were exceedingly friendly, a few of them even remembered my name for the whole length of my stay. The housekeeping staff were very nice and friendly. I didn't need everything done up every day but they still came and did it and it was nice talking with them. Overall, all of the staff were very nice and friendly. When I would leave by Uber I'd wait outside and the security guard would talk with me and I felt safe.

I wish breakfast had bacon, not that it's a must but usually when I stay at hotels I love having bacon and egg, but that's not the worst thing as the rest of breakfast was great.

Clean , quiet and Pleasant environment. Good facilities with attention to safety. Friendly staff mostly. (I'm quite chatty as a personality). Restful experience. Enjoyed my stay generally.

Some recommendations. Little things really. They get alot of foreign visitors so I guess they could Train the staff to assist clients with SIM card activation on the cellphone networks. Or at least have that sort of information ready and printed at reception for each major network. Maybe have some airtime cards for sale at the reception area in case a foreign guest needs to load it urgently. (They are quite far from the nearest shop or fuel station). They could also have some basic toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrushes and shaving razors for sale at their convenience store. Things guests would forget to bring but then need urgently. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend Hyatt House and will definitely be going back there next time Im in Johannesburg.

Breakfast was good Rooms well cleaned Staff very helpful all round We had a cute balcony which was really appreciated Good location but not walking distance and I would not suggest walking anywhere in Joburg because of safety Bathroom tiles dried up so fast Even though it was vold outside the room was a comfortable temperature

We were in room 206 The shower door rubbers need to be changed because water was leaking out onto the floor Shower tap fitting is loose We had neighbours in 205 that were loud and noisy with music on the entire night of our 1st night at the hotel By 5am I had had enough so i called reception and asked them to help out. Within 15 minutes all went quiet and was quiet for the remainder of our stay It sounded like the guy had ladies over for company and it was not in good taste esp for an international name like Hyatt

Noting the affordability of the place, Hyatt House Sandton offers a fantastic all-round experience. The rooms are big (much bigger than the pictures online); the staff are lovely, so kind, dedicated and friendly (I felt like they were my friends, they always had time for a meaningful conversation, especially around the front desk); the facilities are comfortable and meet your needs (gym, mini pool, deck), the place is heavenly quiet, and the decor is thoughtful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else for a work trip. It's really that good.

Can't really complain about anything at their price point. Best value for money.

The value for money here is exceptional. I come back over and over again because check in is quick and easy, staff are friendly and accommodating and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Bonus is the table and chairs in each room (great for catching up on some work) and the kitchenette facility. Linen is good quality, clean and crisp. Breakfast is simple but perfect before a busy day, and a great added bonus. Parking is safe and easy to access (no underground parking etc). This is the perfect base for those traveling for work. I must just give a shout out to the reception staff. They are always friendly, attentive and helpful. It makes checking in and out a pleasure!

I missed the Starbucks in the reception area this trip. This was a great addition.

Been here numerous times still best for value and location, breakfast is excellent,had dinner here as well and food was great,staff are all friendly,the 1 bedroom apartment is well appointed with most appliances you would find in your own house,love the little shop inside the hotel as well Would be nice of they offer upgrades now and then when available for return customers

Nothing much just the staff cleaning outside leaves with power tools in morning really is distracting if you just trying to sleep late,they should consider doing this later,

We took packed breakfast because we left for a shoot at 5am. The breakfast sandwich was cold and hard. The mini croissant was cold too and very hard. We complained about it before and thought this time around it would improve. We received a mini tiny fruit salad with yoghurt and NO SPOON. I have experienced your hot breakfast and its excellent. you need to work on a takeaway breakfast solution that can work hot or cold. ie. muffins, SOFT croissants, scones, cheese,jams, butter, fruit salad and yoghurt + Muesli. OR baked bread / crackers to name a few.

The Room was great, clean and comfortable. It also has a nice outside area. Ideal for a solo traveller that wants to be based in the Sandton vicinty. Peaceful and quite. You can definately work comfortably in the room.

The Only thing was not to my liking or expectations was the food, but Food is subjective to the person eating it, I suppose. The food for me although was very well served, lacked taste and was salty, coffee was also very bad. Anyone travelling to this nice place should rather eat out or order Uber eats.

The bathroom is ridiculously small. Especially the sink. It was impossible to do anything except for washing your hands. There was no space to put any kind of toiletries or bathroom bag. And you can completely forget about trying to wash your face or shave in the sink! It was downright comical trying to find a place to put any of our stuff when we were trying to get ready in the mornings. THE SINK IS A COMPLETE JOKE.
