We were absolutely blown away by the staff at Mi Pi Chi - especially the night guard, Tyson! We arrived late on a Thursday night, and it was one of our first trips to JHB, we were unfamiliar with the area and felt a little unsettled as we arrived - Tyson made us feel so at ease, and went out of his way to make sure we felt safe the whole weekend. The apartment was super spacious and clean, and had everything we needed, as guests travelling for work. Thank you to the team!! Amazing value for money.

Only feedback would be the shower! Since it's over a bath and not connected to the wall, after you shower there is quite a bit of water on the floor, but Verginia was kind enough to bring us extra dry towels every day, which made this managable!

I had a great stay! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful — they gave me great recommendations on where to go out in the evenings, which made my time in Johannesburg even more enjoyable. On my last day, since my flight was in the late afternoon, they kindly let me use the room for a few extra hours to work, even though I hadn’t requested it in advance. Truly appreciated! Highly recommended.

Beautifully furnished in the heart of Melville. The apartment is large and spacious, the staff are amazing and friendly and attended to all our needs. Thanks to Lerato and Tyson for taking such great care of us, there is also a 24/7 security guard outside the premises so you can really feel safe and at home. We would stay at Hotel mi pi chi anytime again if we are in Melville, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is nothing much I can fault the place with, everything we needed was right there and moreover the location is extremely convenient and near shops etc. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!

There is nothing we didn't like, the rooms and facilities are so comfortable that there is nothing to complain about.

Virginia and Tyson are the best. They went the extra mile to ensure that I felt at home.

The surroundings are deteriorating more and more. The lack of an alternate supply for electricity (generator/solar) and water (tank) is a sore point as we went days without electricity and had water interruptions. The place does also need a bit of TLC to bring it up to what it once was.

Nice property in a relatively safe area. Friendly host who went out of her way to help us when water and later electricity went out. Rooms are spacious and clean, although we did spot a mouse in ours.

Rooms are not soundproof but the owner ensures noise in the common area is kept down. Parking is narrow and can be tricky for non experienced drivers.

The house plan is nice, with a little outdoor space just outside the rooms which allows one to take some fresh air while still inside the house. One can just open all the glass sliding doors and have the outside fresh air come in and still remain secure in the house!

There was nothing I didn't like really, but from my previous stay, I enjoyed the self-service and I expected it since I planned for a much longer stay next, the room I had did not have the self-service but I was made to believe it is part of the covid aftermath, hoping they manage to bring it back to all the rooms like it was before.

I absolutely loved my stay at Motel Mi Pi Chi, The building is aesthetically beautiful, the room was cosy and warm, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom design really stood out, modern and exceptionally clean. Everything about my stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

There is nothing I didn't like about the place

We came back 11 years after first time, so glad to meet again Virginia and Tyson, always as nice ! This time with 3 kids, we had two rooms.facing each other, with many space, nice and big beds , good bathroom. I didn't pay attention to the fact that breakfast is not done anymore, but no worries many cafe close to the place we walked a few minutes only! We hope we'll come back again !

No water in the late afternoon, but we could have shower at the gym closed to the motel !

The room I stayed in had a courtyard accessible directly from the room!! It had amazing jasmine flowers and was perfectly lit with natural light! The shared kitchen had almost everything you would need! Starting from microwave to coffee maker! The staff were AMAZING!! would give t HH is place 20 stars if that was an option.

Use a pay in advance method to get a better communication and arrangement .If you are afraid of coldness or make a visit in winter I advise you to come with your small blanket ..it is warm But not that warm even if the is an air conditioner
