1 reason why i am down scoring is for a manager Zanele or Zandile i think his name was, has no communication skills his arrogance needs to be toned down. his actioned made the whole experience poor.

What a beautiful experience I had❤️❤️ My main reason for this Booking was time away from home in a place that felt like I was far away...100% achieved. The place is in a gorgeous location that is nestled in the heart of Joburg but feels like one has traveled to the bushes. The service and attention I received from one of the stuff members coming out to meet me before the car even stopped was 5* treatment. The front desk officer had a gorgeous smile and personally took me up to see my room.Absolutely love the foyer of each floor.. Each has its own personality and my favorite Mirrors galore😍 😍OMG, I was blown away when i opened my room.. I had a very spacious room overlooking the lake. It smelt fresh despite having carpets on the floor( I was worried because I have sinuses). The day was cold, but my room was already the perfect warm temperature. Had huge comfortable beds with enough covers. The water temperature was amazing throughout my stay. The Wi-Fi connection was perfect throughout. The next morning, I had breakfast in the restaurant, which was so beautiful ( enjoyed my omelet 👌🏾 and the pastries they offered). Dinner was a succulent fall of the bone oxtail that I enjoyed 😉. The grounds are maintained beautifully and had the extra treat of booking a spa treatment. The massage bed was so nice and warm.. She took the time to add an electric blanket, which was top-notch service in my books. I left that room feeling so relaxed 😌. Netflix was not connecting, but it was ok cause I still had YouTube. The carpets in my room had a few stains but smelt very clean ( apparently, they are in the process of renovation, so I can not wait to see the next time I am there.

Breathtaking first time arrival experience! Location, peace and ambience absolutely stunning! The size of the rooms....huge OMG....definitely a rare find! Perfect for couples and for quick weekend gateways. Breakfast was definitely amazing and filling! Many thanks for locating lost and found item!

Shower in room 206 has terribly slow drainage. Had to cut short bathing time due to fear that we would flood the room. Wifi absolutely terrible....had to use own wifi. Could do with a few more towels in rooms. Otherwise great experience overally

Room was great size. Light bulb had blown, sink leaked, and patio door did not lock - BUT you resolved these 3 issues promptly and that was superb service! So that I really liked

Light coming through to room at night via the shower area was a bit of a nuisance. Not offering Cappuccino as an option with the breakfast. Overall the breakfast is okay, can't complain about it. But won't rave about it either.

Breakfasts were delicious. The chef complied with our dietary requests for dinners. The staff were extremely helpful and kind in every part of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable. You could open the patio doors to the covered balcony.

No elevator in the hotel. The carpet in our room needed a deep cleaning. The faucets in the bathroom sinks were so low you couldn’t get a glass underneath to fill it.

The rooms are very spacious, the setting is very nice, the whole aura of the place is amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice but very limited, not buffet.

You can hear everything the neighbours are doing, EVERYTHING, i felt the peoples privacy was violated a bit. No DSTV, so if bringing kids they will be bored, the WIFI was very weak and not functional, so even if you brought your own devices, you need to bring your own WiFi

The Facilities were awesome, loved the service, waiters serve even at the pool area and rooms. Loved the rooms, Spacious, neat, we booked for 2 nights, the afternoon we went out and they changed sheets, towels and cleaned the room.

For the Caliber of the place they can do much better with the food quality, though it wasn't horrible, but especially with Family, food should be a huge value for money, The TV channels as well could do with some improvement and air-conditioning.

beautifully place well, clean and big rooms with elegant decor style, nice breakfast with a friendly staff at the restaurants. rooms were super clean and comfort beds. Dinner and breakfast were nice and well prepared.

I didn't like that on our arrival the reception service was not great as a result, we were not informed about the service that the hotel offer, things like how and where to book for the spa treatment and also, we were not given even Wi-Fi password. because of that service I received I couldn't even query regards to the room upgrade as I have booked for room with a Lake view, and it was confirmed but we were not given that room upgrade.

The hotel is extremely quiet, which was what I needed most! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I give 10/10 to the guy who welcomed me and took my bags to the room! (Excellent service) breakfast was also Good!

The towels were brought to the room very late, there were no gowns, although it was formally communicated on the letter.

The facilities were great, loved the pool and the restaurant. I also loved my room, so spacious and the bathroom as well.

I couldn’t see the lake from my room because of the tree’s obstruction. I also didn’t like the fact that every night I tried to order seafood (for 2 consecutive nights), I was told they ran out. I would also suggest that housekeeping should be improved.
