Great location and very close to Eastgate Mall. Only 17 km from OR Tambo International Airport. Lovely swimming pool and surprisingly a peaceful and quiet setting. Very affordable.

This is one of the best accommodations, it's very comfortable and homely. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. From the time we arrived we felt very warmly recived, we checked in earlier than check in time and there were nonissues there- found our rooms ready! The room is quite spacious. Very lovely and friendly staff. The garden/pool area was our favourite, very nice just as the pictures show. Very clean pool. The yard is also right below flights path so every now and then we saw planes pass right above us from O.R Tambo - my son really enjoyed this! Well equipped kitchen with several types of cereal provided as well as a cartoon of milk! (How thoughtful!) Lots of storage space in the room plus the bathroom. Lots of towels provided even to use for pool. We had parking right beside our room, felt very safe.

There was no running water, however this is communicated right when we checked in that there was some ongoing maintenance in the area (not their fault!) but our host provided us with bottles of water on the day and the following morning. No aircon in the room but a fan was provided. Cereal bowls were too small (almost not practical for an adult).🤣

The staff is very much welcoming and good towards its customers, the pool was also beautiful including their garden and not to forget their amazing breakfast.

They didn't have enough water in the area however they made ammends and that's also something beyond their control so pretty much there is nothing not to like about the place.

I may sound exaggerating but yes, Margaret's place has the rarest standard of service and facilities and staff professionalism, warmth, kindness and respect. Very refreshing to be staying here with you. You understand your business against your client's needs. Super clean home, run efficiently.

I can't find one thing.

They had premium quality coffee for our usage, and a full carton of fresh milk, which was a lovely gesture. We also had an assortment of breakfast cereals, all neatly packed in individual single use sizes. The 2 beds in the bedroom was beautifully covered.

The toilets flushing mechanism did not work, so we had a bucket with water next to the toilet to flush, which caused some difficulty for my grandmother.

The place itself was very clean, neat and cozy. We staff is very friendly and helpfull. The grounds is very well kept, neat and clean.

We where suprised by the location. On our way to Margarets Place, we drive through a "not so save" neigberhood. We where really concern the futher we drived - but it ended up to be okay.

Friendly staff. Veldeen welcomed me, 😌, Felt like home. The whole place has a very calming atmosphere with a great garden and pool. Despite municipal water shutdown, we were well provided for by the staff on a daily basis. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Nothing.

The location was cool. It was nestled in a local neighborhood so it was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. I only needed the place for a few hours to have a comfortable place to rest before my middle of the night flight and it served its purpose. The only thing that I really didn't like which they actually didn't have much control over was that they were experiencing power load sharing and for two hours the property didn't have any power. This forced me to stay out longer than I wanted to so that I could have access to electricity. Again, it wasn't their fault, but they could have notified me of this before my arrival to the property.

This was a very nice BandB but it's headed south, like so much in South Africa.....no maintenance ...Pool was dirty and unusable and bits and pieces falling off appliances...same old story...Didn't see much of the host/ess but they were pleasant enough....the area towards Roberts Ave has deteriorated sharply and now feels very unsafe...same old story...all rather disappointing really but no surprise

The whole experience was a bit sad really
