Easy booking. Easy to find. Casual, friendly staff. The accommodation was VERY CLEAN, both inside, and what I could see outside. Loved the Australian pine floors and high ceilings in the communal kitchen/dining room area. Beds were comfortable. More than enough warm blankets were provided. Thank you for the coffee and sugar. As a local South African that embraces diversity, the gathering at the communal dining area was entertaining. The accommodation was 2.5km's away from the Ellis Park Indoor Arena where we were competing at the SA JKA nationals and JKA World Federation Africa Cup tournament, the biggest tournament in Africa. Represented was Mauritius, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Botswana, Malawi, Angola, Kenya, Tanzania and of course South Africa. It was so quick and easy to get to the venue which drew over 3000 contestants and spectators each day. Please book me a room with three beds for next year's tournament😀.

I liked the area and the safety. I also love the tree bark that has grandpa's I loved the garden and the huge space the place has. This place is also great for introverts and also looking for a peace and quite place to destress. The place is close to beauty spa' s and the beautiful eastgate mall. There is plenty of parking space. The sounds of the birds when you wake up...truly amazing. There is indeed safety in the area.

If you are visiting during the rainy season please pack your Doom or Raid because the mosquitos are booming.

I love Westmoreland Lodge but on our third stay we were met with a very sad incident that happened to them apparently there is a gang terrorizing Kensington and they will part of the gang's route not only did they rob the place but the guest 2 room by room which made us feel very unsafe to be there as it feels like a second home please don't take this review and judge them on it as it was not their fault but a bunch of thugs that decided go after a group of helpless women that were simply trying to make a living if anything I would support them all and help them regain from the losses my heart goes out to all the people that work there Belinda the manager and the work is there work there and they lost everything due to some idiots so go there and support them and help them rebuild I know I will

The lodge was reasonably priced, good value for money. Accessible to main roads, shopping centre and plenty transportation. Beautiful garden and the ladies helpful. Pleasant stay for family of 6

Need to change the double mattress in the cabin, quite old and skew on the one side literally. It was good bed in its hey days. The other ones for single beds were fairly new, firm and comfortable.

The host was really nice to us from the day we came until our last day , Belinda was very Good and nice to us we really enjoy our stay because of her .she made sure we have everything that we needed .

The family room was a little bit far and one bed was uncomfortable but overall experience was nice .

I had misplaced money and the staff kept it. Were it not for them, I would not have found it. They are very helpful and kind. We need more people like them.

The location is really quiet , not far from the shops, and there is a shopping mall nearby but most importantly less than a 20-minute drive to OR Tambo International Airport. Cynthia is always ready to help and advise.

Cool place

Hate that some gents tried to open our door at night.. Luckily the door was locked. There are no bath towels😐. They don't have heaters and it gets cold at night. No twin plugs to charge our phones 😒

The hosts were very accomodating , the staff arrived late as they had a breakdown and 1 staff member got lost. The hosts were gracious enough to stay up and wait for them to check in 3 hours after they were supposed to arrive.

I have my space to do my work people mind their business and I mind my Bussiness. Good place away from home to do my business

The wood floor makes noise for my neighbours because it's wooden. So I can't walk freely without the thought of irritating my neighbours.so I he wooden floor has to go, none Negotiable.
