Nice house with everything you need on a prime spot location. Every house has a personal (covered) parking space. If you like sun downers, like we do, ask for cottage 1-4. We were in cottage 5 and that lies a bit retracted, so you miss the real view on Buffels Baai and the sunset. But you can always sit on the lawn and have a great view from there….

There was an alarm system in the house, but we did not really use it. It did not feel good (for us Dutchies) to have the system on at night. I was not sure wat would happen if we would get out of bed…. Furthermore the alarm system gave off a strange hard beep now and then. The shower was really too small (little space to move around) and the water pressure was the lowest we encountered in South Africa.

This property is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the Knysna area. The Brenton-on-Sea region is truly unique, and the view from the living room is beyond words! The beach is just a short walk of under 10 minutes. The house is incredibly comfortable, offering all the necessary amenities for both short and long stays. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the bathrooms feature excellent showers. The outdoor barbecue area is very inviting, making it perfect for relaxing evenings. Access is easy, and the support team was always quick to respond. Highly recommended!

Stunning view from the apartment on the ocean, you miss this place even while you're stay there. It's a quiet place to stay in, for relaxing and basking view of the ocean, making braai. It's well equipped, have all needed except washing machine. It's located a bit far from the center of Knysna on the rock and downstairs to the beach. Have common yard for braai (bbq). It's a guarded 24/7, apartments has own alarm system, so it's really safe. Stayed for the two nights.

There was hairs on a bed linen and in shower, a bit dusty on floor and furniture.

I liked everything about the property, the ocean views from our bedroom and patio were beautiful, there was everything we needed, the villa was functional it felt like home. It's a perfect location and real value for money as we spotted some dolphins and whales everyday. The big TV and lounge area are perfect, wifi worked well, rooms are spacious and I liked the dishwasher machine. The detailed instructions all over the house, the communication before arrival and during our stay was amazing. We didn't want to leave 🥺😭we will be back with our families soon❤

The view is just incredible... Couldn't stop staring at the sea for hours until sunset, it was magical! The house is located in a very safe area, easy to find and a lot of space for parking and outdoor options like barbecue and dinner al fresco. Spacious 2 bedroom with in-suite and good size kitchen, ideal for families. The communication with the host was very good, all details needed to enter the property were available in advance. The folders available in the house with info about the area (activities, restaurants, etc) and the house itself was great too, nice touch from the hosts. Amazing place, super worth the drive. Highly recommend and hope to go back soon!

My only suggestion, as the country suffers with scheduled power cuts on daily basis, would be to install generators/solar panels to ensure electricity is always available.

The ocean view was beautiful and the cleanliness of the place. I loved how it had everything we needed for self catering and the electric blankets and extra heater was a thoughtful addition for a winter stay. I just loved it.

The strictness regarding the towels caused a bit of unease and hesitation to use them

the accommodation was clean, lovely view, it was perfect for me, my husband and son. We had 2 bedrooms. There was lots of space for the 3 of us. It was a comfortable stay. Near Knysna , the sea, but also private .

Nothing. oh maybe tell guests to get salt and pepper! Teas and coffee was provided, and a rusk, which was good. we took our own milk

The view of the sea was amazing and we enjoyed our stay here. The place is so clean and comfortable. We have everything we need. Sophie who assisted us is very helpful. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back again

We loved the view and location, the chalet was clean and fairly well equipped.

We didn't like waiting 15 minutes in the pouring rain before we were able to get the key out of the box and we didn't like the fact that the Host only came back to me via email with the same information about operating the tv, rather than phoning me and talking me through how to operate it. The key box is rusty and the rubber casing doesn't stay up, so needs replacing and the Host needs to review their Instructions Manual for tv.

No Netflix and limited channels. Sonos would be nice
