Very classy place that could be cleaner...the wooden blinds need touch ups and regular dust removal n polish. The skirting the same especially on the bed sides...I suffer allergies, dust annoys me. There is no need to start cleaning around 7am while guests are sleeping, very noisy and quite annoying. The shower water mixer needs serious attention. I burnt quite a few times as the cold water one if very dysfunctional. ANNOYING for a place of that high perceived class. Breakfast was A MA ZI NG

"Our stay was overall outstanding, thanks to the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff—especially Webster and TC—who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The views from the hotel were stunning, and the meals were great. A thoughtful touch was having our vehicle washed before we left, which we truly appreciated.

The housekeeping team could benefit from additional training.

A true gem. The property enjoys the finest location on the cliffs above the Knysna Heads and the views are awesome. The rooms are well furnished including, surprisingly, bed & mattress by Hastens. The cuisine at dinner and breakfast was excellent including fresh line fish of the day cooked to perfection. Another pleasant surprise was the wine list which includes older vintages of South African greats and a smattering of First World wines including Chablis and Champagne all reasonably priced. Finally, full marks to all of the staff for their genuine hospitality.

A kettle in the room for those that enjoy a morning cup of tea would be nice. Coffee machines simply don’t provide the required boiling water for a good cup of tea

The vistas at Head Over Hills are truly breathtaking and remain timeless. The infinity pool is exceptional, and the cuisine is delightful. The staff members are exceptionally accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. I’m certainly coming back here for my next Knysna visit!

The views that are to die for. Staff friendliness. Their “attention to detail” ability. The food was good.

The type of bed/ mattress used. Room was kinda small Least privacy through balconies. Having a screen/wall that give privacy to each room balcony would be nice. It’s not nice to be watching that beautiful view with other people in your face.

The sea and mountain views were amazing. It's also very secluded. The staff were friendly and easy to get along with. We will definitely be rebooking again :)

The location, restaurant and especially the service is beyond words! everyone gives its best to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible… we had a blast and can recommend it to anyone that loves good food, great wine, spectacular views and a very comfortable room. We will definitely come back!

I have requested a special treat (slice of cake,champagne..etc) days before check-in and a night before my birthday but nothing was provided on the day.

I LOVED the croissants...they are Devine. Dinner was fine, but the menu is limited. For a small establishment I got to understand why the dinner menu was so limited in choice.
